Thanks, Karen!  I feel the same way.  So many wonderful new friendships here on OFF.  I'm looking forward to meeting each and every one of you at some point in the future!

Good Afternoon  Off friends
Just a quick runby from Mi this am to wish you a great day!!    Do you ever feel like life is out of control and will never be in control again?   Not in a bad way as nothing real negative is happening here  just out of control!  
Prayers going up for all my friends who are dealing with difficult issues!

When we lived in OR, we had lots of land and a barn. One year when the grandkids were there, I told them I had been cleaning out the barn and found a treasure map. Made of brown paper bag, burned on the edges. We had a lot of fun  following the clues that led to a treasure chest full of small toys and candy. At the time the one grandson was convinced there was a pirate named "Captain Jack" who lived in the woods behind our house. I loved having the grandkids come for a couple of weeks every summer for Camp Gramma?

Another great idea. I know I used to print a few post  that had recipes but I don't remember how. CRS big time. Can someone remind me. I want to save these birthday party ideas.

Hi Karen and my OFF family:

Getting on here late today ... I am at work so I'll make this quick. The party sounds great, Karen. Very interesting. I'm sure the kids will have a great time. And all the cute things you're making for it. ... very creative.

I was on Skype earlier this morning with my brother and mom, then my friend Mary Kay chimed in, then my goddaughter Erin started messaging me on Skype ... all at the same time. I was popular! So after I got off with Gary and Mom, I called Mary Kay back and kept messaging Erin (my goddaughter). Since she found out I'm on Skype, she's been chatting with me. Kinda fun. ... she's 9 (or 10 ... can't remember). She's actually fun to chat with now, doesn't scream this way. 

Anyway, I should see if I have any stories in. I was just sneaking a peek in between stories ... doing sports all week, so things tend to come in all at once or a little at a time. Waiting for the NASCAR story, the Purdue women, a couple of local sports teams. Not so bad, just a little lull right now.

 

 WOW  sounds like a great time for the girls.....
