Sunday What's Up?
I am exhausted. I could not fall asleep last night at all. Once I finally did, I did not even want to wake up to go potty. Argh!
My Thirty-One party went well. I have to get some orders from people who could not make it. But, I was able to see some stuff that I could not tell how big it was from the catalog.
Today, I am heading to church with a friend from AA. Then, this afternoon, my nephew has a Special Olympics basketball tournament.
II hope everyone has a blessed day.
Hugs,
Trish

Morning Trish and OFF family to follow!!!
Cold here and sunny so there is hope that it warms up!
Trish sorry that you are so tired today. Happy that your party was good! If I were into that stuff I would place an order. But I never was into that sort of stuff. Sorry.
Went to the VFW last night for their bar BINGO and had a good time! I played several cards for the jackpot and needed one number on 3 cards for ever and ofcourse I didn't win!! Go figure. But we had fun for a change. Can't wait to go again.
Took a ride into Mansfield yesterday to buy the hi-rise toilet for my new tenant. He is a huge guy and I didn't see him fitting on the small regular sized toilet that is in his apartment. He will be happy now! :-) While in Mansfield we wanted to go to Long John Silvers. Culd not find it...I thought it was on 4th street but later found out it was on Park. Oh well next trip in we will find it...LOL Guess that is what we get for going out and leaving Gabby in my car. (Gabby is my GPS)
Going to make a Beef Roast for dinner today. Daytona Race is the official start to NASCAR season and we are excited for it!!!
Want to move furniture around and see if we can't make it look nicer in here for company that is coming for the weekend. See what happens I guess.
Rick's mom called and upset him once again. Seems she can travel ALL the time to see Joe her favorite son but never here to see Rick. She was supposed to come last weekend and then changed it to this weekend and still she calls to say she is AT or WAS at Joe's. I would love to give that woman a piece of my mind!!!!!
Well enough *****ing for today need to get going and do a load of laundry and see what else we can get done today.
Thoughts and Prayers for all that need them!!!
HUGS
Trish I am glad that your 31 party was a success.
Judy, Ugh, that your mother-in-law is a real hussy (southern word, I know). She will need your husband sooner or later, and I hope she realizes that she is wrong.
Progress on the WLS and my clothes are getting very roomy, but I am holding out for sprng clothes. I finally made a trip to Vitamin Shoppe. The lady clerk was so nice, and then she said I've lost 250+ pounds with the same surgeon that you had. I am 6.5 weeks out and she is 5.5 years. She hasn't had plastic surgery, said she was denied 2 years ago. We had a brief discussion and I encouraged her to try again, especially when she said they estimated that she had 35 pounds of excess skin. I know that I am what the guys on the RNY board consider a light weight, but, most of my weight is in my belly, so, just to be proactive, I made an appointment with the dermatologist. I want to be able to justify the insurance company paying for the panny at least if I should need it. Have any of you ladies had plastic reconstruction? How did it go?
Had my eyes examined on Friday, and my vision has improved, no wonder my glasses and contacts were bothering me. I told the Dr. that since surgery, I have had extremely dry eyes (and everything else too including skin, scalp). She recommended some fish oil. She said the omega-3 was great. Have you ladies had experience with this? Any comments?
I am having my bone density and mammo on Tuesday. They said no vitamins or calcium for 3 days prior to the test. So no vitamins for me until Tuesday afternoon. I almost feel as though I am breaking the law.
Coconut oil? My step dad has alzheimers (early stages) and my Mom heard that cocount oil maybe helpful. Any experience with this? I told her to try it, it can't hurt him. I did a little research and it was interesting.
All in all, I am a very blessed person. I have the possibility of some new projects, please keep me in your prayers that these pan out.
Have a great day, and I'll try to visit a little more often.
Linda
Hi Linda...if you are having baggy clothes try the thrift stores to find some good but cheap bargains!!! I lived and still do live off the thrift store bargains!! There are times you can find brand NEW clothes that still have the original tags still on them and never worn!!!!
Rick's mom is a piece of work let me tell you. Heart of gold but hurts Rick every chance she gets it seems.
My eyes never really bothered me but at one time I took Vitamin A 5000. Guess it helped whatever the dr said I needed them for but no longer take them. Good Luck on yours.
You got my prayers!!

Wow, everyone must be outside today, enjoying the beautiful spring weather. At least I hope you all have lovely spring weather! Not too many have posted yet today.
I'm on here a little later than usual, but I've had a very productive day. Got one more shelf done in my pantry, but it was a BIG one. Had all my canned goods and baking stuff on it. I threw out a bunch of stuff that was waaayyy past its expiration date. Gee if we haven't eaten it in the last 4 or 5 years, I guess it's safe to assume we're never going to! LOL!
I am so pleased with my new figure these days. I found 4 dresses in my closet that I ordered several years ago and have never worn. Very simple casual dresses made out of stretch knits. They're hopelessly out of style now, but they are great for wearing around the house. I've been in this grey jumper for 3 days in a row! I just love it. So comfy. I think I'm afraid to wa****! LOL! It might shrink and then I couldn't wear it again. LOL!
I just checked my weight in the BMI calculator, and darn it! I'm still listed as "overweight". I need to get down to 174 to have a "normal" BMI again. But hey, that's less than 10 pounds to go, right? I think I can, I think I can, I think I can . . .
I baked a wonderful loaf of GF bread yesterday from a mix. It's from a company in Canada (www.glutina.com). It's really good and looks and feels like regular sandwich bread. I'm very pleased with it. I think Butch and my mom will like it, too.
Today I made a chicken casserole using pasta noodles made from quinoa. Little by little I'm finding GF products that I like.
Butch called this morning and we talked for an hour and 20 minutes! That's a long phone call for us. Usually he gets interrupted and has to cut it short. We're almost to the "downhill slide" now. Just a bit over 2 weeks left to go.
Well, think I'm going to put the pups on a leash and go for a walk while the sun is shining and it's so nice and warm this afternoon. Maybe I can make the scale drop again if I exercise a little!
Love you all!
Getting on here late today ... sitting at work waiting for stories to materialize. We were supposed to have a two-story package from our folks in Fla. on Daytona 500, but then it got rained out, so we are punting now ... oh well, that happens with outdoor sports. Got lots of other things going on, just have to change layouts.
I was complaining I couldn't see earlier, everything seemed fuzzy ... so I got out my eyeglass cleaner and went to clean my lens and found out why I couldn't see ... I was missing a lens ... this happened once before, the lens popped out. It was in my purse, fortunately. I have to get new glasses. I have not been happy with these lenses popping out on me. Now I can see again. I thought I was having issues with my eyes ... turns out it was my glasses.
Well, that's all from me. Glad your party went well, Trish. Those things can be exhausting, though.
Everyone have a good day.
my home computer is trying to die so u have spent time on it tonite moving my documents and pictures to a flash drive...but i don't know how to move things from my"favorites" and "bookmarks".
tomorrow morning, i have my second chemo treatment so i won't be worth a lot for a few days..slugsville here! between the bed and recliner!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
