There are places that already have their maintenance guys so you can manage alone. Our last place we lived she wasn't married and ran it so why not you?

Hi Judy and All my OFF friends,

Judy:  I agree that you sound happy since your job change.
How does the laundry multiply so fast? Seems like I just finished it. Needs done again.

I'm much better after being ill. My sis has it now. She is worse than I was. It is because I eat well and am so healthy now. (I think)

PT going well. I love working with Anthony. He is great. I had a great day yesterday. I went to the neighbors last evening after dark w/out my walker. When I left I almost fell. Scared me bad. I guess I still need the walker no matter how long or short the walk is.

Take care and praying for health and God's grace.

Happy to see you are doing better and sorry that your sister is now sick. Hope she feels better soon!!

Be careful walking and USE the walker!!! ;-)

Good morning Judy and my OFF sistas!

Brrr!  It's chilly here, too.  Got down close to freezing last night, but that's the last cold night predicted for the next two weeks.  I'm hopeful that spring is here.  I'm tired of moving my ferns and peppers in and out of the hot tub room every night.  Oh, my ferns are so big and gorgeous!  I can't wait to hang them across the front porch.

I am being sad and silly today because I miss my DH so much.  We are almost halfway through thi****ch, which is good, but it's much too long until he comes home again.  I'm looking forward to tomorrow's phone call.

This morning I am baking a loaf of gluten free bread from a mix I found at Wal Mart.  We'll see how it does.  I still haven't quite adjusted to bread that doesn't taste like wheat bread.  But I think I miss crackers more than bread.  I never realized how many crackers I eat!  Got a new recipe for a cheese cracker that I might try today.  Sounds sort of like cheese nips.  They might be good.

So I did much better with the snacking last night.  As in I  DIDN'T DO ANY!!!  Hooray!  I'm sure it's because I got on here yesterday and confessed and made myself accountable.  So I was very aware of my eating last night.  I had my dinner (shrimp stew over brown rice) about 6 p.m. and then I had a big apple at 8:30 p.m.  Took me almost half an hour to eat it, and by the time I was through, I didn't want anything else.  Managed to go to bed without putting another bite in my mouth!  Yay!

Marti, thanks for the suggestion about the dark chocolate, but I just can't go there.  Everyone of us has our personal trigger foods, and Cokes and chocolate are mine.  I can't eat just a bite of chocolate, dark or otherwise.  It makes me binge every time.  If I have one chocolate kiss, I'll eat the whole bag.  If I buy a bag of the mini sized bars, I eat them all in one setting.  I always have.  I have NO restraint whatsoever with chocolate.  I still crave it, but I have to stay away from it.  As long as I don't put the first bite in my mouth, I'm okay.  I can walk past the sealed bags of candy at the store now without flinching.  But if I smell fudge or something like that cooking at a big mall, I go insane.  I have to stay away from all of it.

(Same thing with Coke.  I'm okay until somebody pops one open and I smell it.  Then I go crazy with wanting one!)

So, I'm more than halfway through with my pantry.  Got the top three shelves finished and oh, they look so nice and clean with the new shelf paper and everything all organized.  Still have the bottom two shelves left to go and then the floor.  I never realized just how much food I have in that pantry!  The contents of one shelf cover the entire island.  I think I let it get so disorganized in there that I could really tell what I had and didn't have.  I found 3 brand new bottles of ketchup in there yesterday!  I don't need to buy ketchup again for a long, long time!  LOL!

Glad to hear how everyone is doing today.  Trish, good luck with your party this afternoon.  I'm glad to hear your leg is almost healed.  Grammy, your story about your neighbors is so terribly sad.  Hard to imagine going through a tragedy like that.  Mag, you sound more like your cheerful self these days!  Glad to hear you are doing so well with your PT.  Judy, I just know you are doing a great job managing those tenants.  Maria, I hope you get some nice down time tomorrow.  Everyone deserves a little fun!  Happy Birthday to Pat R.!  She sounds too happy for words these days on FB.

Love you all!

P.S.  Forgot to report that the scale moved again!  I've lost 2.6 pounds since I started my gluten free diet 3 weeks ago.  I think it's working for me.  I'll post some more recipes later on today if I have time.

Well, with that 2.6 pounds loss, you just ignore my suggestion, because I probably found those pounds you lost. I had to take clients out for lunch today , but just couldn't eat it all, you know howe long it takes us to eat.....I had to finally give up and take it home. They are delightful couple and I enjoy being eith thrm. We looked at 7 houses today and I think one of them weill be their house!

Need to go nbafck out and show one more house today...and then go get some dog food for my girlfriends "puppies" They are gigantic Malamutes [over 100 pounds each]and I just picked them up from the Spa resort and now they need food....so I will take it over to them. My girlfriend comes in at Midnight tonight from Mexico and she "needs" her babies when she gets home. Buy I do love them, so I don't really mind.

Take care, M

Hey Vic, when you are done doing your pantry, come do mine please? LOL I had it all nice looking til Rick went looking for something he THOUGHT we had....grrr he does the same thing to the cupboards!!! My dishes and pans are anywhere they fit!!! GRRRR

As for the COKE, after I went for months without drinking it and then finally trying a sip....OMG it tasted like GASOLINE!!!!! Yes it sure did and it took a LONG time after that that I can finally drink it again...I have one maybe two per week is all and its the REAL coke not diet or sugar free stuff.

You are on your way to a clean house to sell fast!!!

Hi Judy and my OFF family:

Didn't sleep all that well last night, again ... kept waking up itchy, coughing and sweating. Finally got up, used some Scalpin on my scalp itch, took some cough medicine and got an ice pack, some ice water and read for awhile. That seemed to do it until about 9 a.m. when the phone rang ... I ignored it, then it rang again at 10 a.m. ... at that point, I decided to get up. I'm ready for a nap now, even after two cups of coffee.

It's chilly here, too ... 38 degrees but partly cloudy at least, some sun. Back to work tonight. Boss is bringing in dinner. Not much happening here. See ya later.

I think I'd be too hot ... right now I'm sweating so much at night. I'm even thinking of taking off the flannel sheets, and I love my flannel sheets. Between the itching, sweating and coughing, that's what's keeping me awake ... well, the pain kicks in sometimes too but the other things are bothering me more.
