Most injury lawyers work on a contingency basis, only getting paid a percentage of what you win in settlement of the case. Keep a notebook of the daily inconveniences and pain levels, on a scale of 1-10. I did that for six months after being rear-ended in an accident. It helped my lawyer build the case against the other driver. I was in physical therapy for six months. Even though the accident happened in 1988, I still have pain in my shoulder from it from time to time.

Good Morning Trish and all of OFF peeps.
Yesterday I awakened with a stuffy nose and sore throat. Today it has moved to my chest as well. Bad productive cough. Of course I have a pulmonary appointment soon and he wants me to get an overnight test to see the numbers with the night time oxygen. Not now with this cold. He is not happy with me anyway.
Steve did my PT himself yesterday. I asked if he was still evaluating me. He said no that he wasn't busy and thought he would take care of me. Oh, boy. I told him I would rather Anthony do my sessions as he knows me. He know how up to push and when to back off. This is true, but not the reason. I want him to stay in his own part of the world.
Got so much done in the office yesterday. Should be able to finish today or tomorrow depending on my energy level. It's great to be getting rid of outdated files and other papers.
Evey one have the best day you can make. Sorry you are hurting Connie. Good thoughts and prayers to all with problems you are facing.
Taking my computer in to the shop to see if it is able to be fixed. A lot is backed up on a disc, but updates have not been saved to a flash drive. Using my sis, Ellen's computer. It is different from mine. Don't like how low her key board is. I'm bent over. It's uncomfortable to type.

Connie, I think you should at least consult with an attorney. They usually don't charge for a consult. What does it matter who dropped the grape, the management is responsible for keeping the store clean and customers safe!
Our grandson gets to stay til Saturday. He has to be back at 7 PM. That means leaving here at 2. My DH will be going with us and he has to stop to pee occassionally. We will stop at Costco on the way home.

It's my weekend ... rough night at work last night. My boss put me in charge while he went home early. Trouble was convincing everyone else I was in charge. Guys from the back shop kept going over to this other guy for everything. Then we had 226 inches of paid obituaries ... and the ad person who is the slowest and too involved with her family to get them done on time. Our deadline is 11:15 p.m. .... she got us the obits at 11:45 p.m. ... then we have to proof them, get her the corrections, then she has to correct them and replace the files on the page ... we didn't get those two pages done until 12:45 p.m, more than a hour after deadline ... and that was with late basketball games.
But ... at least my boss has confidence in me.
This morning, I had a dental appointment because my lower right tooth had been bothering me so ... but the dentist couldn't find anything. So I came home, popped open a protein drink (hey, Vickie, the ProJoes are pretty good ... I ordered some of those when I couldn't get my BElieves). Now I'm finally having my first cup of coffee and I'm in my jammies. Don't think I'm going anywhere ... maybe I'll unpack a bit today, hang some pictures. My back is spasming and I have a bit of a headache. Feel like crap.
Good day to stay in ... although it's nearly 60, it's windy and gloomy and I feel chilled. I got new sheepskin slippers yesterday and they're a little tight ... wore for an hour to break them in and now have to take them off for a while. So I have to wear the old ones now (which had holes in them).
Connie, you do need to contact an attorney. When I fell outside of Hallmark a couple of years ago, they were liable because of ice buildup outside the store; they took responsibility immediately and paid my doctor bill. I had to sign a waiver, but I got the money for the doctor bill at least.
Anyway, have a good day. I'm going to veg.

Connie, you CALL a lawyer and see what they tell you to do and then DO IT!!!! They are just trying to make you believe they are not responsible!!! That is BS and they know it as well as we all do!!!
