 Good Morning Everyone,
I am curled up in bed, resisting the need to get up and moving on the day.

I want to get to my AA meeting at 9:00.  Nothing else exciting.  It's supposed to be nice here, but I think it might be too cold to walk Utley.  I'll see later.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning all, It snowed all day yesterday and it will get to 50 today. Crazy weather in Nebraska. I have a major case of spring fever. I am tired of all the cold weather. Nothing exciting going on this week. My youngest daughter is getting married next month. She is having a small wedding. Have a great week. Mona

Hi Trish, Mona, and OFFers to follow.

It would be a good day if I wasn't sick. Sore throat and sinus problems. Felt fine yesterday and must be well tomorrow. Lots to do. Because of some of my meds I can't take decongestants.

I've got most of the laundry done. Cleaning out old files and other old papers, and need to get rid of dust bunnies mixed with cat hair. yuck.

    Talk soon.    Mag

Good morning...I have been up and fed.... and on the phone reporting my accident last evening.

I stopped at the Library on my way home to pick up a book they were holding and while I was waiting to pull into a parking place, a lady backed right into me. She said she had been watching him and did not see me. But as I was standing still and she all of a sudden put her car in reverse and back out, I hit the horn as she wa****ting me and hit my right front bumper.

I have a big heavy car...a caddilac sedan de ville, so she had to really be backing up fast, becuse something is rubbing my wheel and I can't drive my car...which is a real hassle, being a Realtor. I do have coverage to pay for a rental car, but that is a also hard because I hate learning a new car.

Ooops my insurance comp just called and they are ordering me a Caddilac through Enterprise, they only pay $30 a day, and I will have to pay the extra $9.24 a day and my deductible.  That is why it is sucha hassle with a little "fender bender".

Do any of you watch the  Bachelor?  I can't believe that Courtney is still there.....I think he is going to pick her....

Well I need to hop in the shower and get on wieth my day. Take care, M

Morning OFF Gals and anyone that might be lurking that is not :)

So I am two for two, went for my follow-up mamo yesterday, which involved additional shots and then an ultrasound to check out what they were seeing, which I was told is benign and just warrants watching via a six month follow-up to be sure nothing has changed.  Well now I am going to find out about getting a colonscopy and endo to have all that checked out, haven't had a colonscopy in about 7+ years and the endo, well last time for that was prior to my surgery, so guess it's time, plus I do want to make sure all is well with my innards as I still am experiencing some pains in the chest, which has to be related to something and so I want to be as sure as I can that it's nothing wrong with my pouch.

Otherwise, all is good, had a very nice weekend, Saturday was a social day, went to Delaware to meet with a friend and went to Macy's where I scored an armful of clothing for $153 and I do mean an armful, 5 items went back, so that brought me below $100 for 9 items of clothing and I mean nice stuff, Charter Club, Lauren and when I brought stuff back, I purchased a nice 3-piece Kasper Suit for $96, so no shopping, other than a couple pair of slacks in my immediate future, after spending time with the one friend, met up with another friend *****cently purchased her own home that she shares with 4 lovely tuxedo cats, cute home, then we went to dinner at Pei Wei (Asian food) and to a women's AA meeting, got home at 9:15 exactly 12 hours from when I left home.  Sunday, Tony and I headed to BestBuy, where I finally got my SmartTV, a 46" Samsung with 3D, it came with a free DVD player and the glasses for the 3D, now mind you, I had no real want of 3D or anything other than the Wifi SmartTV, but the price I paid was for the original TV I was interested in, plus the player and glasses came with, so I did good and lastly, yesterday I had Roxie checked out for environmental allergies, as the poor thing just scratches and bites herself terrible and I also went to the eye doctor, so all in all it was an expensive weekend, but I am getting back a nice refund, it will pay for the windows I put in and most of what I purchased and it was fun, because other than Christmas and a few things I bought in Khols right afterwards, I have not gone shopping in some time.

All in all, things are good and I am happy to see some old friends posting as we all need one another. . .

Wishing everyone the best possible day and peace and strength to get through any of the more challenging aspects of living life.

Hugs, Laureen

morning!
i have spent as much time as i possibly can in my jammies..and gravitate between the recliner and the bed....i feel like a slug!
yesterday; had to dress and drive to cancer ctr for a PICC line flush-10 minute drive- OMG-my lower back was in more pain than i can ever remember which, i think, tells me that my Neulasta shot is working to keep my white blood cells up....i have a call in to doc about pain meds and have yet to hear anything..discouraging but today i feel better...somewhat.

toady, at 12:30, i have a phone interview with someone from the company where my daughter works-they have a part time opening in account maintenace that i am perfectly suited for if my body will allow it and if the dept can work around my treatments...much as i need the money there are some days i truly do not feel like moving off the chair but....

so i could use swinging chickens and prayers --if it is meant to be....

i got an email last nite from a cancer website who is giving me a wig! it should arrive within 7-10 days and will be great for church/work etc...it's a Gobor-hope the color will be ok....not returnable! so grateful! i need to practice scarf tying cuz anytime now the hair could start to leave! jeannie i think of yo--i do not think i can do the whole bald look- i don't have a nice shape to my head!

bunches of stupid errands to run-try to do them all when out so as to conserve gaoline....

Margo,

my hair is still really thin and when I get it cut short, I really have to move the hairs trump style.  I'm sure you look lovely with or without hair.  Make them give you some pain meds.  I am firm believer in taking the meds that they can give you.  My nephew's wife's mom just got out of the hospital from having bilateral total mastectomies.  Her lymps were clean but they are doing the full nine yards.  I talked to her today and said, call and get you some good pain meds.  She said the tylenol wasn't getting rid of the pain.  I said, girl get you some stronger meds.  She called me back and yes, she is now taking something a little more effective.

Well, girl, while the hair is off, get you a nice tattoo of a naked man or something.  I am slinging chickens and burning sage and thinking most positive thoughts for you, my friend.  Think positive and get plenty of rest and avoid any stress.  Think of your body as having soldiers and every few hours, remind the troops to make a run through the body to make sure nothing is lingering.

I know you will be fine…I feel it.

tomorrow i will have the meds that i need!

the nurse agreed that the pain meant that the shot was working to make my white blood cells strong enuff....and today i kindof feel like my lump is starting to shrink.....

i'm fighting like a girl believe me!!!!!

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Windy and gloomy today here in Hoosier land. It rained early this morning when I got home from work ... explains why my body has been hurting. Plus, now my lower right back tooth hurts like hell, too. This is the one that cracked last January and I had crowned ... hope it doesn't need a root canal. If it does, I'll just have it pulled ... cheaper and less pain.

I had an appointment this morning to have a warning light checked on my car ... turns out to be nothing much, but they got it turned out, checked my tires out and fixed my tire pressure. Nice service department. I'd recommend a Hyundai to anyone.

Good to see some of the "old-timers" back here ... Marti and Margo ... missed y'all.

Well, happy Mardi Gras everyone. Work tonight again. Have a good day.

Good morning Trish and everyone....

Margo....you can count on me for prayers as I also say special prayers for some others on OFF. Hope you start feeling better soon.

Yesterday I went the grocery store to pick up fruit and yougurt. I was walking and all of a sudden BAM I fell down...HARD!! Damn big grape on the floor. I had a cart in front of me and didn't see it. I actually almost did the splits!! I left black marks from my shoes on the floor! I hurt everywhere today especially my neck and lower back. I did make them fill out an accident report. Nort sure what I should do. I don't have medical yet as it takes a while to get the paperwork completed. Any ideas ?????
So today I am icing my body and trying to relax. Just what I needed!!

Wishing you all a good day. So many prayers going out.

Love and hugs to all....connie d
