Good Day my Gals,

I am so sorry about the puddy. Poor little dude has to be somewhat traumatized.

I'd like to hear more about the rat shot.

I am looking for ways to protect my flowers from the bunnies. Now mind you, I plant tons of flowers for the critters, but they love my clematis and I cannot have another year of gorgeous, purple flowers on the trellis one day and then brown vines a few days later after the bunnies eat the shoots at ground level and everything dies. This year is the first spring after my mom passed and she planted those for me. I NEED to see them safe.

Any suggestions?

I know it's only 22 degrees here today, but spring is right around the corner.

Hawaii is my favorite place on the planet. I hope to go again when I can fit in a plane seat again.

I love the smell of bread baking. My mom taught me how to bake yeast breads and I always think of her when I smell it baking.

Blessings,

Sharon

Hi Jo and OFF peeps,

I feel terrible that your kitty had to go through that horrid attack. What are 2 big dogs doing off a leash. The police should have notified the animal control. They should have come out to pick up those dogs.

Vickie, Sorry it is time for Butch to go back. Glad you had a good date night. Michael and Ginger are moving to Austin March 15th. They are going to rent for now until they find the house that both are happy with. My friend Maryann is going to be with them for 1 month to watch the grandbaby, Oliver. Actually not a baby. He's 5. So I should be going that way in April (probably towards the end.)
My replaced knee is hurting worse everyday. I think I injured it when I fell a few weeks back. Have an appointment with the surgeon on Thursday. I hope it is nothing serious.
best go get some work done.   Mag

Hey Mag!  We'll have to see what works out.  End of April/First of May is when we play to put this house on the market.  However, Butch will be gone then, so it's possible I could get away to Hilltop for a few days and meet you in Austin.  We'll hope for the best!

Sorry about your poor knee!  No more falls for you!  OK?  Feel better soon!

When will Butch be home in late march? I may drive over then while Maryann is there. If He's home I don't want to disturb. How far of a drive is your town from Austin?   Mag

Oh, Mag, I thought you were coming in late April.  Butch will be home from mid-March to mid-April and we will be so busy trying to get everything ready to put the house on the market.  I won't have time for a visit then.  How long will you be staying?  I would so love to get together with you!  Austin is a pretty far drive from here--about 4+ hours.  Not something we could easily pull off in an afternoon.  But if you were here after April 15th, I could maybe drive down and stay at Hilltop for a day or two.  That would only be about an hour's drive to Austin.

Let me know your plans as they are finalized.  Maybe we can make something work out!  I sure hope so.

Vicki,
You are correct. I was planning late April, but thought of changing to see Maryann. I saw her in December so I can get by without seeing her. Also I found out yesterday that Ellen already has tickets to be in K.C., Mo. It looks like end of April will be better for me after all. Will let you know how things progress.

Hi Jo and my OFF family:

Getting on here late and it'll be quick because I need to get to work soon. I had a dental appointment this morning to get the work done on my crown, so now my mouth is all numbed up and I can't eat. I bought some soup and I thought I'd eat it when I got home, but I'm still drooling just drinking water, so I think I'll take it to work. I'll pick up a side salad to have with it. Or not ... don't know.

I thought the dentist was going to do my fractured tooth but he did the right side, the one with the cavity ... I guess that was more important. Oh well, one or the other.

Anyway, Jo, sorry about your cat. There are things called "catios" you can put outside to keep your cat enclosed. I've seen them in Drs. Foster and Smith catalogs.

Got to get ready for work. See ya later. Have a good day.

Hi all,
Today is my tenth anniversary for my surgery. Did nothing special fir it just another day.
Have kept off 150 pounds and gained a lifetime back from years of being beavy and not happy. Now I just have to control the shopping addiction I supposedly have. Carla
