Good Morming OFF,
I have been slowly making progress with the leg.  I see the surgeon Monday.  She will be debriding some dead tissue  Fun, fun,

Last night, we started a new study at Bible study.  "Discerning the Voice of God" by Priscilla Shirer  I heard her speak at a retreat years ago.  She is Tony Evans' daughter, if you heard of him.

I have the visiting nurse today.  Not much else is going on.

Have a blessed day.  Love and prayers to all.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning, Trish!  Where is everyone today?

I finally had a morning to sleep in!  No Juan today!  No big lunch to prepare!  Just me and hubby together all day today and tomorrow.  I am in heaven.

It's supposed to turn cold and rainy here again.  We had a very nice break from winter the past couple of weeks, but it IS February.  I guess it was too much to hope that Old Man Winter was gone for good.

So, off to have coffee in the hot tub with hubby this morning.  So nice not to have a schedule today.

Love you all!

Good mornin' ya'll.
Trish, I sure hope your surgeon is happy. Sounds like you are on the mend.
Vickie, I know you are thrilled to have your hubby all to yourself! Enjoy the down time!
Connie, hi. I hope everything is going well for you.
Me? Well, today, I have made 2 strawberry rhubarb pies for a co-worker of our daughter's. I make them for him every time I come. Also the neighbor brought over more bananas for bread. We really need to use up as much of the baking supplies as we can. No baking goes on here except when I come.
Our daughter gets home this afternoon. She is exhausted after a week of 16-18 hour days. Granddaughter has a basketball game tonight and then we have to work in the snack shack. THEN, she will be able to take a long bath with a glass of wine and sleep in her own bed! Our granddaughter also has 2 girls coming over for a sleep over tonight. But all we need to do is make sure they have Barqs rootbeer, and extra cheesy goldfish. Tomorrow about noon they will be down for french toast.
Gotta go. Gotta turn the nanna bread. This oven doesn't bake evenly so halfway through I have to rearrange the pans!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Gee, where is everyone today?

It's rainy and chilly and my body hurts. Last night was another one of those "I'm hot, I'm cold, I can't sleep." I wanted to get out and do some running around this morning, but when I got up at 11 a.m., I just had no energy. My back hurts; my knees hurt. Now, of course, I'm cold.

Back to work tonight. Hope my body will cooperate. Right now, it's miserable. Yesterday afternoon, I went to Target for "a few things" ... came home after spending $134. Then had to go to Walgreens to pick up a part prescription (because the nurse at my doc's office forgot to send it into the mail-order place) ... the woman in front of me had multiple prescriptions, a big cart full of things, lots of questions, an issue with one of her prescriptions ... of course, there was no one else to wait on people. Then a guy jumped in front of me in line ... the nerve! I was standing there for 15 minutes. When I left, I was limping out ... some woman asked me if I had knee problems and started telling me about her knee surgery ... I said, "I've had two knee replacement surgeries on this knee and it's worse than it was before the surgery." I was in such a bad mood at that point. I so much prefer to shop from my computer. I used to love to go browse in stores ... can't stand it now.

Anyway, back to work tonight. Have a good day everyone.

Good Afternoon...been busy this afternoon, went to a movie with my girlfriend at 10:15 am to see The Artist..not my kind of movie, I need more action in my movies. The acting was good however....and the music was good. I am stilla big fan of "The girl with the Dragon Tattoo" but it looks like George is the popular guy this year.

Then had to go to bank, run to the office to do a few things and then since we are having "flurries"...but they are
sideways flurries....it is really nasty out, I came home for a while.  I have to go out again soon, but I made a sausage and lentil soup....I think it will be real good.

Eileen, I feel for you so much for your knees and all the trouble. You sure have tried, it was all the doctor's fault....no matter what they say

Vicki...how sweet that you love spending time so much with your husband. I think that is very unusual at our age.

I think I will go put a bread mix in the bread machine...Gluten Free of course....and then go attack my errands for the last of the day.
Have a great day. M

I haven't seen much this year ... "The Help" is about it ... really liked that one. My brother has been seeing all sorts of movies. Of course, he's unemployed and has nothing else to do (well, he could job hunt ....).

Did you see the first "Dragon Tattoo"? The foreign one? I really liked that. Haven't seen the remake. My brother liked it.

Marti--I do love spending time with my husband, but what you don't know yet is that he works overseas and I don't get to be with him much.  He's gone about 7 months out of each year, although not all at once.  He flies back and forth from Saudi every month.  So we try to make the most of our time together when he is home.  I'm afraid I get pretty jealous of people and things that get in our way, even when those things are my idea!  I know, I'm crazy.  But we are having a very nice day together today, so I'm happy crazy!  LOL!
