It's Thursday, what's new?

Hi my OFF family:

Went to bed early because I was tired; slept for a half hour, got up sweating and in pain from my shoulder (right), and finally gave up, so I came out here and watched some TV. Now, I'm getting so sleepy I think I may finally go to sleep.

I finally got to a dentist; turns out I didn't need an insurance card, just my SSN and the group number, which I got, then called a couple of dentist and made an appointment. Still got one fractured tooth that needs a crown; another that has a cavity that could get by with a filling but has needed a crown for a few years. So two crowns ... not as bad as I thought.

Now, really sleepy, can't keep my eyes open, making lots of typos. nighty, night.

Morning Eileen and all who follow.
Sober 470 days and so proud of me. Feeling good and grateful that the Cymbalta works so well. I have been busy and happy and enjoying each day. Hubby doing well also. Our Yoda has been with us a year and he is such a delight. We brought cupcakes to the SPCA to thank them for Yoda and celebrate his "birthday". We had a nice visit there and we continue to support them with donations. On Feb 25th there will be a huge pet party at the fairgrounds. We attended last year and it was a really fun informative time.
Eileen you sound good and I am so glad your new job and home is adding happiness to your life.
Hope you all have a super Thursday,
Monica

Monica,

Praise God and bless you for 470 days of sobriety!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you. The fact that you also feel so good as well is a beautiful bonus.

Have a great day.

Good morning Eileen and my OFF sistas!

Up and at 'em again today.  This week feels waaay too much like working again!  Alarm goes off, have to be fed and dressed by 8 a.m.  Ack!  Boy have I gotten laid back the last 4 years.

Anyway, I'm getting frustrated with people who don't do what they say they're going to do!  The carpet cleaning people just will NOT come out here and give me an estimate!  I talked to them again yesterday (phone call #3) and they promised they would come by 4 p.m.  Nope, nada.  I'm going to have to give up on them and find someone else, although I really did want to use them.

And the Realtor hasn't been back in touch with us yet.  I think I'm going to send him a friendly reminder text that Butch leaves on Sunday and we need to have a meeting with him BEFORE then.

And Juan is coming back one more time today.  I'm really not too happy with hubby about this, but then again, I see his point.  The weather is good right now and they are getting a lot of the stuff on my big to-do list done.  I'm just tired of never having any time with my husband this week.  He's outside working with Juan all day, and then by the time he comes in for the evening, he's exhausted and falls asleep early.  I miss having time together during the day.  He'll be gone on Sunday and then I won't see him again until mid-March.

Oh, well, I have finagled a date night with him for this weekend.  An early Valentines.  We're going out to dinner and a movie.  We want to go see the new Denzel Washington movie, Safe House.  Looks good from the previews.

Well, Juan will be here any minute.  I'd better get dressed.

Love you all!

 Good Morning Eileen and OFF,
I am so glad you are settling into your new home so well, Eileen.  Hope you get some relief for your shoulder pain.  Glad you found a good dentist.

I am barely awake, and it is almost 9:00 am.  My back aches a little, not as much as usual, because the pain nurse gave me some lidoderm patches, which are helping me.  I am getting a cortisone shot in a couple of weeks.

Today, I have one errand to run, and then home to keep the foot elevated.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Eileen and everyone....

I went out with friends last night to my friend Jenny's birthday party...it was so much fun!! I didn't even drink alcohol and I had a blast!!  I am glad I don't drink anymore!
It was so much fun to get together with so many of the friends I have missed so much!!  We are going out tonight to hear a band that is a 50s Revue band...it should be great!!  Can't wait to dance!!

I need to go out and find some new jeans as I only have one pair that fits comfortably....but hey they are still only a size 3 so that isn't so bad!!

Have a great day everyone!!  Prayers for so many in need. Special prayers for some like Nan H, Margo M, Nancy B and others.

I will check in again later....

Love and many hugs to all....connie d

Hi Eileen and all,

Just to let you know I am around just not a lot to say. Life is a little boring, but that can be good sometimes.

Good evening all...too busy this morning to respond....went to breakfas with a bunch of ladies...all Realtors....that have been in the business a loooong time...we meet about 4 times a year and have breakfast together.

Went grocery shopping afterwards and then came home and put a roast in the oven with carrots and onions....then wrapped all my Valentine presents for my "Babies" in Dallas and packaged them up, stopped at my Wellness/Chiropratic doc for an adjustment and then mailed my package stopped and picked up a bunch of Pampered Chef I ordered from my niece and back home.....in the mean time in between time, talking to other agents, talking to clients....etc.

Pretty ordinary day...and I am grateful for no drama in my life.
Take care, M

Hi Eileen and OFF family,
The sun is shining today but it was chilly. I have Fri, Sat and Sun off so I plan to kick back and relax as on Sun it's my 56th birthday! Time just flies but I'm having fun, fun and more fun!
Will probably go out to dinner after church on Sunday.
Saturday I have a baby shower to go to and I did my shopping for that today. Thank goodness they now have more cute boy clothes! LOL
I will say shopping for baby girls is a little more fun for me...Girl Power I say!

Hugs and prayers for all in need. Big High Fives for those sober gals out there doing great!
