TGIF- What's Happening?
Busy day ahead of me. Visiting nurse is coming between 8:30 and 9:30. Then, I have an appointment with my PCP, for follow up on my hospital visit, and my B12 shot. After that I have my fifth IV iron infusion, long overdue. It was supposed to be the first week of January, but I was in the hospital.
When I get home, I will be exhausted. So, I will be crasing on my couch.
Huggles,
Trish

Morning Trish, OFFr Friends,
Hoping you have a good day and get home to relax without any incidents, it's pretty grim driving out there today, so be careful. . .
TGIF. . . end of another work week and hard to believe the last full work week of January, sheesh life really does go faster and faster as we age. My day consists of work, an AA meeting this evening with friends and going to the diner afterwards. . . that's all she wrote. . .
Wishing each and everyone of you the best possible day and for those life challenges that any are facing, I wish you the peace and strength to get through them, I certainly have mine these days. . .
Hugs, Laureen
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Trish wishing you and Laureen good Fridays, you both sound busy. We have a chiro visit and I look forward to seeing him and his staff.
I slept for 7 hours last night. First good nights sleep in days. I am so grateful for it. Sleeping for a few hours then waking is exhausting and makes for stress.
Not much happening, keeping busy and happy.
Best day to your all, Monica
Have a great weekend! Mona

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!
I'm doing laundry this morning ... never got around to it yesterday after spending two hours at the Hyundai dealer getting the thermostat fixed. Then I got gas (it was down to $3.16), stopped at Walgreens and came home ... was too tired and hungry to do much else. I did get some more boxes unpacked; found my printer (but I'm missing a key cord and the ink cartridges). So I have the really big wardrobe boxes unpacked finally and can see my dining room. I put two boxes of stuff in the car to take to Goodwill. Gee, how did I get so much junk?
Today was payday, plus I got another check from the 401k yesterday, so I was happy.
Anyway, not much going on. Need to take my wash out and put it in the dryers. See ya later.
Where is everyone? Doesn't seem like too many are posting anymore. Come back everyone you are missed!!!!
I hope every ones appointments go well today. This is my first day that I have nothing left too do. It feels so good. Wow was that a wild ride!
I am very exhausted but am feeling better already. I can breath easier. My asthma and COPD seem better too. I am finally not so mentally fatigued and that feels great.
My other daughter, Carrie and my grandchildren are coming up for the day on Sunday. It will be great spending time with them!! I have missed them so much.
I need to wash a couple loads of clothes. Sure will be different then what I have been doing the last year!!
Wishing you all a wonderful day. Praying for so many in need.
Love and hugs to all....connie d
We are here at Hilltop and it is a gorgeous day. The whole weekend is supposed to be this way: cool mornings, warm afternoons, lots of sunshine. Perfect weather for the lake.
Butch and I are slugging away on the bathroom project. Today we get to hook up the sink!!! Hooray! Finally! We'll move in the vanity, hook up the sink, hang the mirror and new light fixture, and then the guest bath will be functional again. I'll still have some painting to do, but the end is in sight.
Got to see our youngest daughter and Benny last night. We all went out to eat and then they came back to the lakehouse for a visit. It was a lovely evening. No tension, no trauma, no drama--just lots of fun and laughs. We all needed it!
Tonight oldest daughter arrives for the weekend, and then tomorrow--finally--we will have our family Christmas! 'Bout time, huh? The cable guy is here this morning installing the broadband modem so that all of our new toys will work. I've got the wireless router thing already bought. It's in the box. One of my girls will hook it up for us.
Having lots of fun feeding my deer. We had about 30 here for breakfast this morning! LOL! The fawns have become yearlings and they're getting so big. The bucks still have their antlers, but they're "friendly" again. I just love my deer. They come up in the back yard and stare in my windows until I come out to feed them!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and everyone stays warm, healthy and happy!
Love you all!
I've been lurking for the past few weeks after being absent for... ummm a couple years... I recently had panni surgery and am wondering if some of you who also had this could share a few insights.
What did you use to lessen the scars on the skin.... vit E but a jell, lotion or what?
I also have these strange sensations on my abdomin... the PA said it was nerve endings healing from the surgery. Do they go away?
We have a sunny day here in the PNW. Nice after the storm we had last week.
Thanks
