What's Up Wednesday?
I made a ton of phone calls scheduling a myriad of appointments with doctors. I also got a call from the visiting nurse who is to arrive between 10:00 and 11:00 today. I also have to make another phone call to Verizon, to find out why my cell phone won't ring when I get calls. It also does not make any sounds when I get a text message. It was working fine before I went to the hospital last week. I keep missing calls.
I have to get to sleep.

I have a real weekend again. I'm planning on getting unpacking done, doing laundry, running the dishwashing ... you know, the kind of things you do on a weekend.
Still haven't gotten my last paycheck ... I wrote a nasty email to the manager that they owed me the nsf fees (knew I wouldn't get them); she responded by saying it was my responsible to manage my finances and hand in my timesheets. Just pissed me off more. I know I handed in my timesheets; I remember asking the person about them, whether I should fill out one for vacation.
My brother's unemployment got cut off again; this happened after Congress passed the emergency unemployment extension. He's very upset, needless to say. His savings are used up, he doesn't have insurance and doesn't know how he'll fill his blood pressure meds (he forgot to get it filled before his insurance ran out). It's not good at all for him. I just don't know what to do ... I wish I could help him.
Well, I need to go to bed. I am looking forward to my weekend.
Wow hardly anyone here again today.....hope everyone is okay. I know Mag and Karen are having some computer issues.
Trish sounds like you have a lot of appointments coming up. Good luck with those. Did you check to see if your ringer/sound accidentally got shut off?
Eileen weekends off wow...that is a life you haven't had in a long time!!
Nic is having his MI GB scan at St Jude's as I type. Still praying all goes well for him. I will let everyone know.

I'm with Connie--where is everyone these days? Busy, busy, I guess.
Yesterday I went to Lowe's to buy the rest of my new cabinet hardware and I spotted a book on how to stage your home to sell it. It was a very pretty book, full of big glossy color photos. They wanted $25 for it! No way. Came home and shopped on my Nook. Found a book called Home Staging Checklist for $6.99. Much better.
Anyway, I skimmed through it last night and just about scared myself to death! Oy vey. I haven't done NEARLY enough cleaning out to get this place ready to sell. I'm looking at every room now with new insight and I realize just how much more I have left to do.
So, today, I'm rolling up my sleeves and hitting it again. Y'all are gonna get awfully bored with my talk of selling this house. I apologize in advance! LOL!
Not much else going on around here. If all goes well, I'll be driving to the airport to pick up my sweet husband just one week from today. I think he's scared to come home. I've done nothing but write him letter after letter of what all he needs to do when he gets here! I don't think he quite buys into the whole "staging" concept yet. That's too bad. I don't often draw a line in the sand, but this time I'm sticking to my guns. There are things that have to get done around here, and he's the only one who can do them.
Down another half pound today, although I didn't quite make it with my all protein liquid diet yesterday. I was doing okay until I popped into the grocery store yesterday. OMG. They were cooking in there. The smells did me in. I had to eat dinner. It was more than I could stand.

Things are good for my honey and I - but we sure miss each other. I am planning to go
up to visit him on the 19th provided the weather stays good.

Hello, everyone!
At 4 pm, I will be having a ROOT CANAL! After a full weekend of misery (I've not had a toothache in 20 plus years), I got an emergency dental appointment yesterday and was put on antibiotics right away. I HAVE to get rid of this infection ASAP before my radiation starts. Radiation lowers the immune system and both my radiologist and dentist and our common sense says that the infection has to be dealt with BEFORE my treatments start. I tried to run away from home instead of going thru this. With this lymphodema, I cannot run very fast...JB caught me on the front porch.
I would rather have a PAP test...I would rather give birth w/o the joy of chemicals AGAIN to both my nine pounders before I have a root canal..I am handling the big C just fine but I'm a dental work weenie!! "Rufus" is aggitated.
I asked the dentist for the "sleeping gas procedure"...she doesn't do that..I asked her for a bottle of Bailey's and a straw...nope! What IS their problem!!?
Tomorrow it's another trip to Hamilton to see my Radiologist.. will Nancy survive? will the dentist learn to work with NINE fingers? should Nancy wear Depends today? The adventure continues..tune in tomorrow.

Nothing new with me. Still struggling with getting my exercise in but having pain from adhesion's. Oh well and life goes on. I will just keep on keeping on.
Had protein coffee this morning for breakfast and a Burger for lunch, having a WW frozen dinner for tonight. Gotta keep calories down somehow and I'm just not hungry in the morning right now.

Evening OFF family...wow what a day today turned out to be!!! Boss was here to see me and let me know a few more things I needed to know and learn...she toldme she was VERY happy with me and how I am doing things and also that it is less then a month and a half!!! SOOOOO she is giving me a bonus and a raise!!!!! OMG WOW!!!!!!! YIPPEEE!!!!! She also said Rick is doing very well but she already knew how good he worked from the other complex...he is also getting a raise and bonus!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Life is good!!!! We LOVE our jobs also!!!! Does it get any better than this??
Rain is here supposed to turn to a mix then snow...YUCK!!!!!! Got our salt yesterday and bought another shovel today just incase...38* and rain here right now...chilled and Rick made me some hot soup...gotta love that guy!!! And I do!!!!!!!!!!
Had the "runs" last night and was running all night...lucky if I got 2 hours sleep...so tired now and taking hot shower then laying down top watch tv and maybe fall asleep.
