Dreaming of what you want and doing what you dreamed

This morning was a very quick thirty minutes of yoga.  This afternoon was zumba, and I really, really got into it.  I didn't slack off of any of the dance steps.  Oh yeah.  When I go in for the plastics consultation, I am going to have some muscle definition.  Tomorrow is walk/run day and I am going to do five miles.  Anyway, the mean, getting muscular, and lean moving machine is back baby.

Who is going to join me on the putting on the miles walk a year?  Tell me your weekly goal, give me an exercise or activity that you dreamed of doing and are moving towards or are doing now.

My second dream:  I have always collected rocks and fossils.  When I was young, I walked through wooded areas so thick that I worried that I would get lost, but after the accident and the weight gain, I couldn't even walk to the edige of the paths.  So I dreamed of walking along the river, in old river beds, down ravines, and in caves, and all the other hard to get to places to find rocks and fossils.  And, I am there.  I climb and hike and am only limited by my choice.  I don't think there's a single mountain trail that I have not climbed.  My favorite is a little river bed north of Russellville.  There are these beautiful river rocks that are smooth from the water and I love to hand pick through them and clean them and the children and I paint them.  It is, without a doubt, the best craft activity for us.  We get the rocks together, clean them, and then paint them.  I hope you are all getting busy doing those activities that make you happy and make you feel fullfilled.  Today you move a little; tomorrow you move a little more; and before you know it, you will move a whole hell of a lot.

Hello Jeannie.

Once I get back to MN things will change. I will  get rested up and have some me time. I will then get back to my normal walking routine.  At least 5 mornings a week. No less then 3 miles per day. I love walking and have really missed it!!

Love and hugs too....connie d

I cannot wait for you to get where you are happy.  I know you must be hurting so much.  We raise our kids and put up with their goods and bads and we provide for them when we cannot even buy a pair of shoes for ourselves, and then they grow up and forget all the things we have done for them.  YOu are going to be just fine and get your life back and your daughter will come around and things will improve between you, but take it from someone who knows: mamas and daughters are not always a good match in the same house or even in the same car.  Good for you.

All my life I have give everything to my children and grandchildren. I spend all my money here on groceries and supplies and things for the kids and other grandchildren. I have had to help Kyleigh out so much. I am totally broke now. When I get back to MN I won't even have insurance for a while. Thank got my sister is taking me in. I have nothing left to give.

I hope the pain lessens someday. I am especially hurting fot Nic and Grace. I love them so much.

Thanks for always being such a great friend to me.

I just love to dance... it makes me so happy to move freely to that rhythm. I don't need anyone with me, I don't need anything but the music and my body. I'm not that coordinated or balanced but I don't care. This wek I bought that WII game "Just Dance 3" and I'm loving it a couple of times a day. It's great exercise AND it makes me smile.

That sounds great.  I am thinking about getting the WII and the game for dancing and other activities.  I really think it would be a good thing to have for early mornings--to get me going.  I know what you mean about dancing making you smile.  I have always loved to dance and have enjoyed my dance class with my gay friend.  I also love the zumba.  On the weekends, my grands and I go crazy doing dancing.  Of course they are classical ballerinas and ballernios…and they try to show me how to do it, but all I can do is the jerk and the swim and the two and four and more steps.  I am really getting good at moving my booty too.  you and I have so mu*****ommon--are you sure we are not sisters?
