Good Day for a Monday
As I posted on Facebook about an hour ago, I am home from the hospital .My attending doctor did not et to the hospital to discharge me till after 2:00, and then it took several hours to get the paperwork processed.
It's good to be home ater six nights in there. I still get excruciating pain when I walk, and I am using a walker to get around with. But, there is considerable improvement compared to the night I was admitted. My leg got so bad because I have really bad circulation in my legs, and I am on Coumadin, which caused the injuries to bleed into large hematomas, and I developed a really bad case of Cellulitis. I was on Iv antibiotics till this morning.
Now, I can use my laptop to post with. The iPhone was great, bu the laptop is so much better.

Hello All,
I started my day extra early today. My kitty cat decided that she wanted me to get up and get up now. I felt her whiskers on my nose, then she put her nose in my ear, and then se started licking my eyes. The other cats were sitting there waiting to see what I'd do. I rolled over and put the covers over my head and I be if she didn't crawl under the covers, so I got up.
I took one of those single serving tuna packets to work with me and it is more like three servings for us wls gals. I was so busy that by 2, I still hadn't eaten it and didn't want to eat it that late. I did eat my banana for snack. So, tonight, I made a huge steak for hubby and me and I had about three ounces and I guess a piece of it is not sitting well, and ya know what happens when our food goes in wrong. I'll try to eat again before bedtime. Today was just not a good eating day.
Well, we finally got our car back. I don't know if I told you guys, but on Christmas Eve, a kid backed into us and smashed our fron left front bumper and our headlight etc. We have had a rental for about a week and finally we are back in our car. Yeah!!!. They actually did a fantastic job. OUr neighbor, Mr. Underwear Man, use to be a body man and he said they did an excellent job. Well, they just ordered the entire parts and replaced them and painted. I doubt there is much skill in that. Along time ago, they beat on the steel and bonded it with stuff and painted and now that was talent.
The students will be back next Monday, and there are a few who have made it back on campus. A couple of my students from previous semesters have dropped by to chit chat. One of the young men is applying to law school and a couple of months ago, he brought his application and purpose letters and summary of his goals by and I helped him edit it. Well, he came by today and said, Dr. W, guess what? I said, hmmm, let me see, you got into law school. He was so happy. I am happy for him. He worked very long and hard to get his paper work in order.
Well, hubby is looking over my way and I'm sure he either wants some juice or something else to eat.
