Nancy, Indeed no chemo has to be good news. You are such a trooper, such a fighter, and such an inspiration to me. Remember that your main job the next few weeks is to take care of Nancy! Sending much love and all of the positive thoughts in my world east and north to Niagara on the Lake and C***** Hat Nancy!

Thank you, everyone!

You may not realize just how powerful all of your kind supportive posts mean to those of us who are struggling with challenges. It's like getting premium time with a BFF(best friend forever) and lots of hugs. The more positive thoughts we put OUT THERE, the more the good stuff multiplies (regardless of religion or beliefs). I believe that what we think and feel draws that same type of energy to us..so I stay positive to draw more positive energy..if we all keep that thought in mind, we may be shocked to see how much better we feel and how we see much more positivity in our lives!  It's the universe's version of "pay it forward"!

Because I have my Mom's white Irish skin (aka fishbelly white, I have already experienced severe radiation burns from my first breast cancer challenge, the Radiologist has already warned me to expect that again, stand so I will focus on pain control and quick healing for the skin...also severe fatigue as radiation ills the GOOD stuff along with the cancer cells(consistent with radiation poisoning, actually, but not as deadly). Sometimes the treatments are wrose than the disease.

I've started my daily pills, only 4 years and 363 days to go...lol  :  }

Since radiation treatments start in a few weeks, I have about two weeks to feel human so this weekend we are hosting a family dinner out at "The Olde Winery Restaurant" in Niagara-on-the-Lake..la di da!..for our younger son, Derek's 34th birthday..a darned pricy place (but awesome food) but Kathy suggested it..the birthday person always gets to choose the location...I might have to sell our firstborn to afford dinner for eight adults...lol..or we all can wash dishes! That mught be fun too!

We have also invited his girlfriend's (Kathy/Kasia-she is Polish and a professional chef) parents along..they had us over for New Year's Day dinner...and yesterday, Kathy's mom sent us a homemade cabbage roll dinner...wow!

I've babbled on too much..I confess that I can do that alot...or just sometimes retreat and isolate..JB says I need to find a balance and he is right. I'm thinking that some warm sunshine would be nice for sitting on my verandah with all my furries but the bitter wind cuts thru everything I wear and by the time I park my buns into my chair, my hot tea is half-frozen anyways.

I share my positive support with all of those who are fighting battles in health, both physical & emotional, hugs and love to all.
