What's up with you on Tuesday?

Thanks for the suggestion. I can see where it would work well on some hardware. Unfortunately, my current cabinet knobs are gold with a white ivory center. Not really "paintable". But I found some today in the satin nickel finish that aren't too expensive, so I had the store order a bunch of them for me. It's okay. I knew we would have to spend some money updating the kitchen. I just don't want to go overboard, since I'm not going to be the one living here to enjoy the new stuff, you know?

Afternoon OFF family...BRRRRRRRRRRR its cold here and little snow on the ground. 16* and I do not want to know the windchill!!!! BRRRRRRRR is all I can say!!!
Not much else happening right now just busy at work doing the rent checks...and trying to keep warm...LOL

Yeah, it's pretty durn cold here in NC, too. And the wind just cuts right through you!
We went to Walmart and to the PO to mail cookbooks to our daughter.
Sears called to say ournew range is in. Of course, our son is hugely busy today and tomorrow at work. He says he can pick it up after work tonight but may not get it installed til Thursday or Friday. That's OK. We have our toaster oven, George Foreman grill, microwave and waffle iron. No one is starving here.
After so many years of marriage I have to keep the DH, nobody else will take him.
Last year we had a tif about I don't know what. He ended by saying 'I can't live like this anymore' and went off to bed. He always gets up about an hour before me, so when he got up the next morning there was a note from me on his desk. It said. "OK, we can go talk to a divorce lawyer today. I want the house and all it's contents, half your $100k 401k, half your Navy pension, half of the checking and savings accounts, you can have the Scottrade account. I will let you have your puter and desk, one of the smaller TVs, one of the spare bedroom sets, the love seat and a recliner. You are not entitled to any of my inheritance from my Mom. I will pay for you to move into an apartment and the first month's rent and deposit. I will take you to the grocery store once a week, and drive you to your doctor appointments."
When I got up he was in a much better mood. He said he guessed he would just have to keep his mouth shut and accept the way things were. I have told the kids that if I was dying from anything, before my last gasp of breath I would shoot their father. Cause I was not gonna leave them to fight over who had to take care of the curmudgionly old fart!! My kids all tell me I created this monster by doing everything for him for years and they are right. I spoiled him! We do love each other, but there are times that we get on each other's nerves.
So far no bites on my nursing capes from Lejuene Yard Sales. I have, however heard from a few relatives who want one or two.

LOL..."Bobbitize" I think all husbands were on guard for awhile when that happened. Now that brings back memories and can't we all picture it all??? LOL

So I got up and put the heating pad on my back for awhile. Hubby woke up and I must have fallen asleep in the recliner so off to bed I went and didn't get up until 9am.
Took down our real Christmas tree, had pine needles falling and it was time. So swept the floor, vacuumed and put away all my Christmas decorations. Then after that I went into my hot tub, read my book and drank a bottle of water and yepper it was cold outside but the hot tub felt soooo good!
