Manic Monday What's Up?

So, today is my last day of winter break; although, I have gone into my office a couple of times.  Tomorrow it's back to the gym and back to work.  I am eager to get back on my routine.

Today I am doing laundry, ironing clothes, and sort of going through my closet.  I am also throwing away all my orphan socks.  I cannot believe how many pairs of socks that I manage to lose one of the pair.  I think there's a sock serial killer living in my house and one by one it is making singles from my pairs.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Fiinally got moved in ... The apt. I thought I rented wasn't what I wanted, so I moved on. I rented Something nicer, but no wash/dryer connections. Found out the other one didn't have them either, but at least this one has dishwasher, which first one didn't have. I don't know how I missed these things.

Took awhile to get my stuff in but everything is there. Juliette is hiding in the cabinet under the sink. I'm having my first Starbucks at 5 p.m. and using their wifi. Place is nice, not fancy, but will do.

I'm tired and achy but the coffee is reviving me. I get free cable here so I can watch TV tonight. And the manager gave me some frozen dinners, so I can eat something besides protein bars and peanuts. So everything will be OK. I think.

HI OFF family and special shout out to Eileen. Now rest...moving is tiring and stressful. Hop your kitty is coming out of the cabinet soon!

It's snowing here in Michigan and blowing. Ugh! But the sun was shining earlier today.
I'm at work and for a "holiday" it's busy.

When I leave work tonight I'll be extra careful, the business loop was really icy coming off 131.
Hugs and prayers for all in need.
Happy New Year OFF family!

Eileen now this place sounds more like a nice place to live!!! Glad you didn't take that other one!! Now, does this place have a laundry facility? Ours has laundry rooms in each club house. $1.50 to wash and $1.25 to dry. Not bad at all compared to the laundry mat...wishing you and Juliette the best in your new home...and job!!!

HUGS

PS that was really nice of the manager to give you some food for tonight!!!

Judy, there are laundry facilities; they have two next to the office, one larger one and one smaller. The larger one has vending machines and a big-screen TV. It's just a little ways down from my building (next to the swimming pool). So it's not so bad.

Whew! I was worried aboutcha!! Glad you found a better place and got settled in. Now maybe you can relax for a few.

Its cold here in Indiana..19 degrees and blowing like a Northerner! Havent been out today but gotta take my sister shpping tomorrow. She gets her Ss check and wants me to take her to buy lamp shades and hit the half priced bookstore.

I was so bummed today. Hubby came home and told me that for me to be put on his companies insurance plan will cost us over 800 dollars a month, besides the 200 for him! So, guess Ill wait till March when my medicare starts. Gotta find a supplemental plan for prescriptions. Meanwhile, its gonna get real pricey for my drugs. Hope I stay healthy till March!!

Did real good diet wise today. Stayed within my range and didnt eat many carbs at all. Boy I wanted to though! LOL be glad when the cravings stop.

Well, the dog wants to go to bed so Id better go tuck her in..

Blessings
Betsy
