Lilee....without knowing which kind of surgery you had it is hard to beable to help much. I had RNY 4 years ago.

Have you tried to change up your eating? Sometime a new diet will help. Maybe you aren't eating enough? Be sure you are getting in your protein first and all the required amounts of water per day.
What about exercise.? Change that around and do something new. Maybe walk more. Don't always do the same routine. Are you drinking with meals??? Remember for every coffee/diet coke you drink you need double that amount in water.
I am sure you are very frustrated. Maybe your surgeon or dietician will have some ideas for you.

Good luck!!!  Hope you can get the weight to start dropping once again.

HUGS....connie d

Lileee,
I can't add much to what you have been told. My sis stopped losing and her doctor said she was not eating enough. When she increased her eating of healthy food she began to lose again. (she did not have WLS, but had to lose for cardiac reasons.) she has embraced my healthy eating and doing well, except for holiday sweets.
I had a stall and it was put to rest by changing up and increasing my exercise.

When I first had WLS, I had one major stall and I changed up my exercise a little and added more water.  The key to wls success is the same as before wls, you have to take in less than your body needs, and even with our rerouted guts, we still must make sure that we are burning the fat that our bodies have stored by exercises: plus, it doesn't take our intestines long to evolve back into an efficient digestive tool, so you have a window of time to really use the wls as a tool with exercise.  And the weight does slow down and you have to eat right…eat some green chewy foods and meat and leave anything white alone and leave all glider foods (chips, crackers, potatoes, etc) off your diet.  And, exercise…increase your walking time and increase the speed of your walking.  Some of that fat probsbly has been stored for a long time and you will need to really work at getting it unpacked.  True.
