Thursday What's Happening?
Good Morning Everyone,
I am getting ready to go to my AA meeting. Then, I am heading out to my AA meeting, then up to my ex's to say good-bye to my daughter and the Munchkins. My daughter and her husband were able to buy a minivan last night, which they sorely needed. They currently have a small car, and with two car seats already, and a baby on the way, they needed something bigger.

Good morning Trish and OFF sistas!
Well, today I am off to Shreveport to do a little furniture shopping. I've decided to go have a look-see at Ethan Allen. They have several fabrics on-line that look like good possibilities for what I want. And Shreveport is the closest place to me.
Not much else going on around here today. I did pretty good with my eating yesterday until the munchies got me late last night. I always have been a nightime eater. I did try to munch on healthy stuff--almonds, dry cereal, etc. But I can see I'm going to have to throw away the rest of the chips I had tucked away. Funny about that. I've never been a big chip eater, but lately they just call and call to me.
Well, I need to kick my butt in gear if I'm going to Shreveport today. Hoping you all are having a good Thursday!

Good Morning Trish and all OFF,
I have a slow morning and a very busy afternoon. Will walk this AM before I go into Tucson. Then I have an appointment with the ortho surgeon, A chest x-ray, and a stop at my Durable Equipment store to get a new Cpap mask. There is one other thing to do, but I can't remember. I have two desks and my banking and calendar are at the other one.
Also must mail the "New Year's cookies. Ellen is eating them four at a time. I told her that she has worked so hard to get her weight down that I hate to see what she is doing. I guess I'm not the the only one with a sugar addiction.

Well, I have an apartment but because my credit is so crappy I am going to have to pay a whole month's rent as a deposit. I don't know where I'm going to come up with $1320 to rent ... I'm so tapped out now. I'm so stressed now that I'm stress packing at night (I guess that's not a really bad thing ... at least I'm moving around ... and after I did it, I slept really good.).
But ... at least I'll have a place to live. This is costing a lot, though. I feel so out of sorts. I did pay off my washer/dryer yesterday. One less thing to think about.
I have to get out and cash the new check from my new employer. Hope this one is good.
Anyway, need to get dressed and get out. Maybe I'll pick up a sandwich on the way back from the bank. Got to haul out some garbage. I cleaned out the pantry ... Lots of expired stuff in there.
Got two big boxes packed from the master bedroom closet. So I was busy.

Hi everybody.
You all sound busy so I decided I would find a project or two myself. So, I put on the dramatized version of the Bible on cd in the kitchen player and started cleaning out drawers. My junk drawer was full of a little bit of everything.Now it looks nice and organized, till hubby gets in there rooting around, LOL. Then I moved on to the other drawers, threw away some old junk and cleaned out the medicine cabinet. We dont have one in the bathroom so we keep our stuff in the kitchen.
Decided to take a computer break.
Im trying to catch my Schnauzer, Sugar, to put meds in her ears. She hates it, so at least Im getting some cardio in! I may hafta wait till Mike gets home tonight to hold her for me.
Im looking at a twin sized box spring leaning against the wall in my living room. We had a huge party here Christmas night, and one of the highlights every year is the annual white elephant gift exchange. My granddaughters husband brought it as a gift, and the gal that won it left it here. Hmmm.....I think Ill text JD and have him come get it. I sure dont want to keep it till next year.
Im trying to purge the house of all sweets left over from Christmas so we can start back on track Sunday. So far I have everything gone but one small candy dish of chocolate,,and no matter where I put that thing I can still hear it whisper my name!! May have to send it home with one of the kids.
Got a question,,Im thinking about joining curves. Do any of you all have any experience with it? If so, was it worth the time and money? Did you have good results? Its the same price as the gym here in town, so Im debating.
Well, guess Ill go clean up the hubbys office and then iron. Just wanted to take a minute and try and get back into the habit of posting here.

Well my daughter is still not talking to me and hasn't since Christmas. She, Grace and I were eating dinner last night. No eye contact and not one word. Finally after Grace went to bed I said, "so when do you want me out, give me a date". She said, "that's your thing" that was it three words. I said do you want me here to stay with Grace while you go to St Jude's? She said "yes". That was it.
The weekend after that on the 13th thru the 15th they will be in St Cloud, Minnesota for Christmas. I was planning on going with but have decided to stay home and pack. It would be worse with Grace around. I will then move on the following weekend. I know it will be hard for them having to pay daycare. What else can I do....I can't live like this!!
I am sure you are all getting sick of me whining about this.

Connie sweetheart you vent all you need to do on here!!!! I know I have done my fair share of it and it helped me alot to get it out!!!!
Sorry that things are so bad with your daughter!!! One day she will realize what she had with you there now that you wont be!!! You need peace of mind and to do that get out!!! So she has to pay day care...her fault NOT YOURS!!!! So be it...
