Monica, glad the cymbalta is working. I am very happy with mine. I'm not sleeping well lately, but there are other issues at work there. I'm sure once I'm settled in at the new place, it'll start working again.

Well, I made a nursing cover thingy. It was really easy. I need one of the girls to give it a try. If it is what they want I'll make a few more. Thanks for effering to get me a pattern gals.
Connie, you have got to do what is best for you! It will be hard on all of you, but YOU have to be happy.
My DH made his famous ham and beans today. Yuck! Everyone else loved them. Well, he had the crock pot on the stove, lifted the lid off and dropped it on the stove top. It cracked my stove top!! The stove is the only appliance we didn't replace when we moved here. Soooo, looks like tomorrow we'll be going looking at stoves!
Today I mailed a box of frozen goodies to our daughter. I tried to send some home with our DIL at lunch but she said no. Welllll, she called about an hour ago and asked if I'd send some home with our son (he was here eating beans). It seems the grandson is having someone over for the night and they want sweets. Hooray, I needed to get rid of them!
Our son put in his retirement papers today. For March 2013. He needs to get a new shoulder, get surgery on his arm to stop the numbness in his hand, get surgery on his other hand cause the fingers are drawing up and won't straighten out, and of course, get his back fixed. The shots only help for a week or so. Not sure what the next step will be for that! That will probably all take 13 months!
Soothing thoughts to everyone who needs them.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Getting on here late today ... it has been a hectic day. My cleaning fairy got here about 10 a.m. and was a whirlwind (after she took a shower and washed her hair ... her ho****er heater isn't working, so I offered her the use of my shower). Then she went to work ... she packed up my kitchen cabinets and cleaned out the cabinets as she went. I packed bobbleheads and books as she did her thing.

In the meantime, I checked my bank account; I was nearly $800 in the red. Seems the check from my new employer for my moving expenses was returned. Not sure why ... not for NSF, but for "return to maker" ... anyway, the HR guy says he's sending me another check, which should get here by Thursday ... which means it won't be available to me until Friday. Fortunately, the movers changed the date on me to Friday. So it's been a helluva day.

So later in the day, I went to return my movie to Redbox, get a couple more movies at Walmart and a few other things ...then came home and checked the mail ... my mom's check was there, so I hightailed it to the bank and deposited and get my bank account back in the black.

That's been my day. I'm pooped. I got a couple of movies and I'm going to veg out now. Even Juliette is pooped ... she is snoozing by my side.

Have a good day, everyone. More packing tomorrow.
