Good Morning OFF Family,
I hope everyone is having a good day this Sunday.  I got to see my son, Chris for a little while last night.  It was short, but good.  He is flying to Dallas on Wednesday, to spend Christmas with his wife, who is still on tour with Les Miserables.  Her entire family is joining them in Dallas to spend Chrismas with her, and to see her.  She has an entourage that goes everywhere to see her perform.

Anywho, I will be heading to an AA meeting this morning.  Then, I plan to watch football all day.   Also, will be working on that bedspread.  One week and counting..

Huggles,
Trish

Judy,

I am so happy for you, sweet friend!  You certainly stepped into a great job at a great time of year!  So many parties and so much goodwill among all the neighbors.  This is wonderful for both you and Rick.  And I'm so happy that you will be able to "go home" for Christmas and see your mom.  I know how much that means to you.

Now, just be happy and don't let yourself be blindsided by the inevitable January slump.  You know it will happen, but just hold on tight to the good feelings of welcome and fellowship you're experiencing right now.  That will get you through the January and February blahs.

BTW, crab legs are our absolute FAVORITE!!!  Enjoy!

Trust me Vic...there are a few that really do not like us...but the others out-weigh them by a long shot!!! Trying our best to please them all!!! :-)

As for January and February...not going to happen here with the slump!!! I have several recertifications to do for those getting government help on their rent. LOTS of paperwork!!!! And not to mention the white crap that will fall...that will have to be cleaned up also...yuck!!

Crablegs were the best today...Rick said he could go for more...LOL haven't seen him eat that much in days!!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Everyone is  still sound asleep this morning so I'll say hi while I have  a chance. Early last week was spent finishing up my holiday shopping for gifts and groceries before heading to Erin's and then to "Cinderella" with the twins. What a wonderful memory for all of us.

The performance was a matinee so the audience was filled with young and old. Many of the children and seniors wore their princess tiaras. What a sight. I guess a princess is a princess no matter what her age. I'm not sure which level was represented by more: the young or the young at heart!

The twins wore sparkly dresses and shoes. They were enchanted by the live performance. Clara's favorite part was the wedding and Hannah said the "movie" was wonderful! Erin, Josh, Briley, and Lucy (Maggie's daughter) arrived in time for a taco feed last night. They'll be here until the day after Christmas.

Nate, Kristin and their new "addition" (named Eleanor!), an 8 week old mixed terrier (!) will arrive on Tuesday. Wow, grant me patience, endurance and warm weather so that we can get outside some!

Today is our 40th anniversary. Mike and I started dating when we were 19 and married at 22. Where has that time gone? I know I'm not cooking but don't know if we'll go out by ourselves or take the crew out for pizza. I hear the twins stirring so I'd best cut this short. Sending warm wishes to you all.

Hi Trish and OFF Peeps,
I'm glad you had a good visit with your son.
Judy: I'm glad the new job is working out for you. Change is sometimes good for us.
Karen: I cant' remember what I was going to say. In our little burg we call it a Green Valley moment. Can hardly remember my name at times. lol

Everything is quiet here to day. My sis is out for her Sunday breakfast with her friends The cat is still sleeping. I'm still sleeping too. I got up and started gathering trash to take out. Ask Ellen for her bathroom trash. She said, "It's Sunday!!!" Seem like I've been saying "silly me" an awful lot lately.

Everyone take care and have a wonderful Christmas season.  Mag
