Friday, What's Up?
Good Morning Everyone,
I was supposed to get fasting bloodwork done this morning, but forgot and ate my breakfast, so I have to reschedule my annual physical. Argh.
At lunchtime, I am helping my sister-in-law drop off gifts my Bible Study put together for clients at a local mental health agency. We put together sheets or towels and boxes of chocolate for them. One of the women contacted Ross, the clothing store, and they are donating $500 for us to buy blankets for the clients as well. What a blessing. These clients live in apartments in the community, and rarely get Christmas presents.
I have to get to my AA meeting this morning, even though I am moving in slow motion. Then, must work on the bedspread. I did accomplish something yesterday. I put together a tricycle for my grandson for Christmas. I am so proud of myself.

Trish...I used to have trouble remembering the fasting lab. Now I leave notes in the kitchen to remind me not to eat or drink!!
Nothing new in my little corner of the world. Grace is very clingy for some reason today.
My scope went okay. I have swelling behind my vocal cords. It is mostly from nasal drip because of allergies/Dog. He thinks I may have a nodule in my vocal cord. I have to have other tests done. Whatever!!
Doing laundry today. Need to run to get my new RX I didn't pick up yesterday. A really exciting day here!

Hi everyone, it has been awhile since I have checked in. It has been crazy here. We went to a cabin in the wyoming mountains. It was wonderful. We had a chili feed and went to church and sang christmas carols. It was so beautiful. You can see the mountains looking out of the church window. This weekend I am staying home and getting things finished. My grandson will be coming home from college. The weather has been great here. It is supposed to get to 50 this weekend. Today is volunteer fun day. They're taking all of us volunteers on a field trip to the Big Thicket National Reserve. Should be interesting and a chance to get to know my fellow volunteers.
Yesterday we had a farewell lunch for three people who are leaving in the next week or so. That was nice as well.
Not much else is new other than it's raining. I will not complain because this area is so desperately in need of rain. Every drop matters and it's a nice sound on the roof of the RV.

Beautiful here this morning. Going for my follow up mammo later. Just told hubby and he wondered why I didn't tell him 2 days ago. MMMMMM, didn't want him to get more worried or depressed.
Yoda is up and counting his toys....each day he does this. Sometimes we move his toys and he gets crazy.

So, it's raining here at the lakehouse and it's cold, but I don't let it bother me. I'm tucked up in the recliner with the warm laptop and a warm puppy on my lap. LOL. I've got nothing to do all day except exactly what I please. I really need a day like this to decompress after all the tension of the past few weeks. I just want to crochet and watch movies and veg out a bit. Tomorrow I will drive home and try to think about what to do about Christmas.
