Saturday Happenings-What's Up?
Hi Trish and my fellow OFF gang,
Hope we all start sleeping better soon. I think mine is partial stress. Was a bit manic yesterday. Drives my sis nuts. I got a lot done yesterday. Made up for spending most of the day on the computer. The living room is in good shape except for dusting today. High winds here blow the dirt right in. Need to dust every other day. We are to have another storm over the next few days.
Monica: you are in my heart and will be praying. Hope John is able to keep steady until you know what s going on. It's hard not knowing what is going on.
I'm keeping my word and came here before doing anything else but taking pills and making breakfast. For the New Year I am going to stop playing all FB games but two. Way too time consuming. Also going to talk more with friends. My reality can not be playing games. I'm doing a wean back process and then a "dress rehearsal" on New Year's Eve.

Good morning, OFF sistas!
Today is travel day for me again. 6 hours back to Nac. I wanted to leave at 10 a.m., but I'm not going to make it. Woke up at 7:20 a.m., rolled over for another couple of minutes and woke up 2 hours later! So, okay, I'll leave at 11 a.m. Just so long as I get home before dark.
Didn't do much yesterday but just relax. Trish, I finished my last Special Olympics scarf yesterday. That makes 4 total. I think that's all I'm going to have time to do, but I enjoyed it. I need to get them bagged and ready to mail off before the New Year.
Well, I still need to write my sweet hubby and then hustle my butt out the door.

Thank you for making the scarves for the athletes. I know they will be appreciated very much. That was so nice of you to do that. My goal is 4 scarves. I plan on getting them started as soon as I complete Isabel's bedspread, which is in the home stretch. My deadline for Pennsylvania is February 1st. Each state has different deadlines.

Good morning/afternoon Trish and everyone...
I managed to get about 30 cards written out last night....about a third of the way done......hope to finish with that today!
I went to my room last night to do the cards and here comes Miss Grace to snuggle in my bed......then comes my daughter...we all laid and watched some Christmas shows with Grace. That is the first time we have done that in many months. Usually it is just me and Grace. Hope this is a good sign.
Monica...still praying your lump turns out to be nothing to be concerned about.
Susan, Nancy and Nan and Morgan too......keeping you in my prayers as you go through these difficult times.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:
Getting on here late today. I snuck a peek earlier but was talking on Skype and didn't post. I've been packing and purging a bit today; doing laundry. My back and knees are hurting because of it. I'm still trying to find a mover; I have one, I think, but they haven't called me back as of calling them late Friday to confirm. I hope I can get this nailed down on Monday.
I went out early this afternoon to Goodwill to drop off some stuff, they gave me some boxes and then I went and got some detergent because I was out and needed to do laundry. So I have a few boxes and got rid of some stuff. I put some chicken thighs and brown rice in the oven and am making chicken and rice (with cream of chicken soup) for dinner. Got to get rid of the chicken.
So, I'm watching some Christmas movies, packing, purging, eating the chicken. Such is my day off.

another quick runby from Owosso Mcdonalds! Get my new internet at home Tues! I miss being on and off all day! Stopped in here specifically for an eggnog shake and they were all out. Oh well 2 bites of hubby's Sunday was enough! He is supposed to be sitting here enjoying one of his Christmas books he conned me into letting him open last night. He is sitting here sleeping! That's OK hes tired Ill wake him when we leave I wont leave him here. bought the stuff needed to make the quick breads for giving out to family next week. seems that chore of moms falls to me now and i enjoy it We all remember her love of baking when thinking about what kind of bread to eat! Prayers going up from our house to yours!
