 Good Morning Family,
I am up early again.  Trouble sleeping.

Today, my son is coming in from New York.  So, I have tidying to do.  I also must haul butt to an AA meeting.

Nothing exciting today.

Hugs,
Trish

I've been up since 5 a.m. and had a really restless night....Bobby had a show last nite with his band, and guess I was worrying....geez!  Plus, I was missing our good night phone call -- did talk with him late afternoon for almost an hour -- hard to believe two people can find that much to talk about, huh?

I bought two "chubs" of cookie dough this year -- it was on sale for $2.50/ea.  don't usually do that, make my own, but thought it would save time .....today I HAVE TO BAKE COOKIES or else throw the dough out.  I don't want them in the house, so I will take most of them to work on Monday for yet another carryin
birthday luncheon.  Today is the day to brush some more rum on the fruitcake too!  It sure smells yummy.

Cleaning my house is also a necessity today -- lots of cat hair floating around!

Better get busy, it's after 7 a.m. and lots to do.  Oh, my niece came through the 1 1/2 hr. reversal surgery just great.  The doctor was pleased  - she will be in hospital for 2 to 6 days depending on when "her plumbing" starts working again.  Thanks for the prayers.

Hugs and love to all,

Pat....don't be worried about your guy while he is with his band. I dated a person in a band more then once. It is hard but you have to have trust. So far he seems to be really treating you nice and with a great deal of respect. He seems pretty stuck on you too!!

Glad your niece is doing so well. Sending her healing prayers.

Good morning Trish and all those who follow this dark, cold morning!I was lying on bed for hours.  I had s udden flood of fluid from my incisions again and had to wash again and change nightgowns. Despite my apparent need for sleep, I just couldn’t seem to drop off, so here I sit.  Friday was very tiring: we attended the funeral for a friend of 30 yrs, she was 60 and died of cancer (cervical & uterine) .  We spent half an hour at the wake then had to stop at a winery for enough for Christmas dinner and for some gifts, next stop: Town hall to get a new license for our 180 pound horse...er...rottie, Zeus. From there, to the pharmacy to pick up my potassium, manganese and vitamins, I found some really nice warm mittens…pink for breast cancer…knitted but with fleece lining and extra long fold-up cuffs so they will be nice and warm…I got a pair for Dan’s wife Amy and for Derek’s lady, Kathy….I was kicking my butt all the way home for not getting myself a pair as well…your fingers stay warmer in mittens than in gloves and I’m always losing my gloves anyways…maybe next time. But these mittens will be stuffed into their Christmas stockings which I make up every year for them. Next stop, the post office to pick up our mail.  If course I was exhausted and went upstairs, once home, to change into my lounging clothes and to lie down for an hour.  However, I was lying ther4 thinking that it’s Friday so I have to change my fresh turkey order at the farm today and call the cancer centre and conform my appointment to meet my radiologist as well…so back down I went to get that done. An old friend(since we were 16) called and we chatted for quite a while, catching up then JB came in…he had cut, built and welded a huge heavyweight metal firewood pile stand for Derek & Kathy next door and was cold so I made tea & his shortbread and started supper…Dutch smoked sausage, steamed red cabbage and tossed salad for him….a small piece of sausage minced into a bowl of hot pea soup for me. Then I sat on the couch and covered myself with a fuzzy purple afghan and promptly fell asleep for three hours *sighs*…of course this means, I’m screwed for sleeping in bed. My sleep cycle is so messed up since surgery. Anyways, a few more stocking stuffers then I will buy gift certificates for the “kids” and order two gift baskets today from the organic lavender farm nearby for two friends that I usually exchange gifts with for many years.

Well, maybe I can sleep soon..I’m off back upstairs to try again...enjoy your weekend, everyone!

Nancy...your sleep patterns are messed up...BUT you do get some sleep when needed....your body is still healing and all the hormones since surgery is to blame for the messed up sleep patterns I am sure. Morning all, happy Saturday. Sober 412 days and so proud of me.
So I have a breast nodule on my right side. I declined an ultrasound until next week since I would have to have waited about an hour and hubby was with me waiting in the car....a wreck he is. Working on being calm, nodule is located in a scar heavy area.
Not much planned. House is ready for the day and so am I.
Hugs to all, prayers too. Yoda is excited and giving hugs.
