Oh Happy Day
Mag,
Congrats, I remember all too well that happy moment when I was below 200 lbs. . . Savor the feeling you have today!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Laureen,
Hi again. As I wrote more and more replies, I realized how special you and so many others on OFF have been. Helping, teaching, encouraging. You are so kind to me. Have been since I first came to OFF. I have a difficult time "talking" to people I don't know and didn't write much in the beginning. You really did make me feel welcome and comfortable. Hopefully, I will be able to do the same as newbies come to the forum.
Hugs, Mag

Mags,
You are a dear and I hope one day to meet you in person.
I was made to feel welcome here and so I try, to the best of my ability, to treat all the way I was and how I would want to be treated since arriving here back at the end of July 2007.
I miss many of the oldtimers who because, I like to believe, that they have just gotten so busy living they no longer are on here, but I will always remember those early days when I was a pre-op hoping that what was going on in their lives with losing weight, was going to happen for me too and when I hit those forever stalls, their words of encouragement kept me going, which is why I totally can say (and we all can) how it feels to slip into onderland!!!
Glad you proved that silly doctor wrong and better still, I hope you get wherever your dreams take you!!!
Hugs, Laureen

Connie,
I'm back. Again. I know you have been through a rough time this year. I think you are a very special person and pray for you. Like I said, "I keep you in my heart." Let me say that I pray the new year will bring you a plethora of blessings. Don't know how to spell it, but it means a VERY LARGE amount of blessings. Keep your nose clean. (A saying that my dear father used to encourage us to keep on tract.) Mag
