Judy, my friend and comrade in the WILD and exciting life know as post-WLS. You were the first to welcome to OFF. I have grown to know you and consider you my encouragement champion. Let's keep ridin' the buckin' broncos for all it's worth.    Mag

Karen,

I know that I would not be celebrating this milestone if it weren't for you and all that keep me inspired and dreaming.
So much to be thankful for. Life is so much more exciting and rewrding. I can do things I thought were impossible.     Mag

Karen,
Sorry, the word is "Rewarding." Silly me. I'm so happy I took the plunge and had the surgery. It's you other others who have helped me through the tough times, cheered me at the good times, and laughed with me when I'm being silly. Thanks for your help and thanks for caring.   Mag

Mag!  I am so happy for you!!!  Didn't some medical person somewhere tell you this would never happen?  HA!  You sure showed 'em, didn't you?

CONGRATULATIONS!

Vickie,

I'm so grateful to you and all who have encouraged me this year. Yes. Dr. Russell told me I'd never get under 230-240.
I was thinking of emailing her to say Merry Christmas and by the way this is what I way now. She said once an overeater always an overeater. I proved her wrong, heh?   Mag

Oh, Mag!  What a perfectly horrid thing for a doctor to tell a WL patient!  You certainly SHOULD email her.  That's like saying once a smoker, always a smoker.  People can and do change their lives and their habits if they want to badly enough.  You and me--we want to!!!  (and so do all our other OFF sistas!)  She needs a swift kick in the butt for saying that to you.  I'm glad you didn't listen to her.

Sorry. I'm getting tired and slap-happy. I know that it is spelled weigh not way. Did I tell you my Micheal is opening up his business in Austin the first week of January. He didn't want to make the the move until the new year. Taxes and all that. His cousin, John, has been with the business since the first day. It helps that Micheal, Ginger, and John all have masters degrees in business. John is moving (or moved) to Austin to run the second location. Micheal and Ginger still have not purchased a home. Maybe by next spring they will be settled and ready for visitors. I look forward to meeting you face to face. Thanks, friend, for all you do for me. I should buy you a cheerleaders outfit. NOT like the Dallas Cowboys' cheerleaders. lol   Mag
