It's Tuesday ... and I have news!
Hi OFFr Friends,
Not feeling too good this morning, tired and a little out of sorts. . . Roxie is not herself and I think it is the cut she suffered on her paw when I took her to the dog park last week, that and possibly her ears, so called the vet last night and I have to leave work at 3:15 today in order to be home for the vet to come and check her out, of course I did not sleep well because of that and then one of my roommates informed me last night that she is moving to be closer to her Mom, who is beginning to show signs of her aging. It's a great thing for her, but now I need to find a new roommate. Otherwise things are just wonderful. . . grrrrrrrrhhhh.
Wishing everyone the best day possible, for those of you facing real life challenges, whatever they be, I wish you peace and strength, me included (lol). . .
Hugs, Laureen

Dear Eileen,
I am so happy for you. New job. New city and state. Hope it is truly a wonderful change for you. I'm originally from northern Indiana . I usually get back once a year. We will be able to get together as you will only be about 2 and 1/2 hours away.
Still on IV meds etc. I have been home since last Thursday and have not heard from PT or OT yet. I will call today and find out what the hang up is. Health care in the U.S. is not what it use to be.
Yesterday I tried on a blouse that was a size large. It fit. I'm so shocked. All the goodwill clothes I purchased in September are falling off now. My sis took some pics of me recently so now I need to figure out how to put them on my profile page.
Everyone have a wonderful day. Thinking of all and praying for those who desire. Mag

Good morning, gang!
I have to tell you, all these breakfasts with my guys are getting to me. This morning they wanted waffles and bacon. These are not WL friendly meals, you know? I did make whole wheat waffles and I threw in a couple scoops of protein powder for good measure. I had 1/2 of a waffle with a little butter and sf syrup and 1 slice of bacon. But I start out every day feeling stuffed. This is bad ju-ju for me.
Okay got a question: it's come down to a choice between a Toyota Highlander and a Mazda CX-9. Both are SUV crossovers, both have similar feature, gas mileage, etc. We've never owned a Toyota of any kind. Had a little Mazda truck once that was a disaster, but that was back in the 80's. So, any opinions as to which make is better? Toyota has found us a 4WD model for sure, and Mazda thinks they've got a line on an AWD one in Fort Worth. Calling about it today. What would YOU choose?
Hurray for Eileen's new job! That's exciting. Hope our sweet Connie and Trish are able to overcome their blue funks. Hope Monica begins to feel better soon. Glad that Mag is back to posting again. I'm sure there are others I meant to mention, but little Benny keeps grabbing for the mouse and I'd better send this before he deletes the whole thing!
Love you all!
