What's new on TGIF?

Good mornin' ya'll.
Well, I may have really ticked off my son and DIL. They are still very upset about their oldest son is creating a baby with someone he has only known 2 months, even though they say they are in love.
Anyway, I FB'd her and invited her over to pick out 2 baby afghans (one in blue, one in pink), so I can make them for my first great grandbaby due in July. I am not thrilled either that she and my grandson are starting a family with no money and no plan. BUT, what's done is done. There is no going back! And I want to be included in that child's life. I googled her Mom and discovered that my soon to be grand daughter-in-law, had a very bad childhood due to a very abusive father (he is in prison for the next 90 years). I don't want to be part of making things miserable for her now!
As for my Friday. I am still waiting for my call back on scheduling my pouch reduction surgery. I will call them at noon (they are 3 hours behind us) to light a fire under my coordinator.
I have to go to the PO to mail a Christmas package to my sister, but I know she will open it as soon as she gets it, so I don't wanna send it too early.
Better get in the shower and officially begin my day.
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Sober for 397 days and so proud of me. I have not been feeling well, extreme fatigue and all achy. Doctor wants to see me next week, he is concerned. Mammo & bone density on Monday.
Lots going on in our lives. Missing children and Gkids. New grandchild, Lincoln, doing great, gaining weight and length. Red hair still there.
Yoda is asking for a walk so off we go, bundled up as it is cold here. Prayers and hugs for you all, thanks for being there for us all, each and every one is special. Hope Eileen knocks them silly with her interview today.

Mon, I've been wondering where you were the past few days.  I'm sorry you're not feeling well.  Hope things improve for you soon!  I know you like your new doctor.  Hope he/she can get to the bottom of your aches and fatigue.

Woot for the 397 days!!!

Monica I am so fatigued and achy too. I blame it on my Fibromyalgia as I have just had all my blood work done. Every level came back great.  I fight staying awake all day then at night I can't sleep or wake up every couple hours. Some of that is from all I am dealing with right now.

All your grand children are precious but Lincoln sounds like a really sweetheart...red hair and all!!

Hope you can find some relief soon.

This fatigue is so consuming. I am afraid to go to sleep too early, so I stay up until midnight at least. Then I wake up during the night and can't get back to sleep. Hoping my doctor has some plan.

Carolyn,  All I can say is KUDOS to YOU for taking the first step to welcome the new baby and his mom!!!  Sounds like she has had precious little positive warmth in her life.  I'll bet she appreciated your gesture of acceptance and welcome more than words can say.  And you're right: what's done is done.  Time to accept it and move forward.  I'm proud of you.

And wishing you much luck with your revision surgery.  Goodness.  Who would've thunk it?!?

Good Morning Grammylew and OFF to follow,
I was up late most of the night.  I wanted to make some headway in my cleaning/decorating before going to bed.  Got my tree up, and did some mopping of my kitchen floor.

Today, I must get to a meeting, and finish cleaning.  My son and daughter-in-law are coming in from New York tomorrow, to show my daughter-in-law my apartment.  She hasn't been here, as I moved in September, and she was on the West Coast then.

Gotta get to work.

Hugs and love to all,
Trish
