Thursday Thoughts_ What's Up with You?

Good morning my OFF sistas!

Lots going on here in OFFworld today.  First of all, prayers for healing for both Nancy and Nan.  And prayers for success for Eileen today, as she travels for her job interview.

I am pumped because I dropped another pound today.  Glory!  Just 11 more pounds until I reach that magic 100 lbs GONE landmark!  I can hardly wait for that happy day.

Butch and I are up with our little Benny this morning.  We've played and had our breakfast together.  It's our happiest time of day.  This morning we had oatmeal, yogurt and bacon.  Benny loves bacon!  He's kin to his Papaw!

Today I have to pay bills.  Sigh.  I got to do it.  Get it over with and get it behind me.  Then I can go play in the woods at the farm this afternoon.  Right?  Right.

Papaw is talking about taking Benny for a haircut this morning.  We'll see.  I'll bet his mommy says "no" to that one.  She says "no" to everything.

So, I'd better get started on my bill paying so I can get 'er done!  LOL!

Nancy and Nan. My thoughts are with you. Mine was stage 2, also. I did IV chemo, then radiation, then IV chemo again. I never did lose my appetite like they promised. And I never lost any weight!
Eileen. Good luck today.
I took the last bunting I made to my neighbor for her little girl. I just love babies! I will be happy to see my new great grandbaby next summer, but I wish he/she had been planned. Although in my opinion, if you don't use protection you are planning on getting pregnant.
It is getting so cold here at night, and the days don't get much warmer! It smells like winter out there! I put my tree up this morning and now I'm really in the spirit!
Nothing going on here really. Housekeepers are here. That means our son will come for lunch later than usual. Our grandson was here earlier for breakfast before he went to his new job at Walmart.

 Hi all,
I just got back from Chicago and Michigan. I missed the snow!!!!! We drove straight thru to get home today. We are tired. My little one had a great time meeting cousins and had a fun time in Frankenmuth at Bronners and discovered Phyllis and Jons basement and decorated her christmas tree all by herself!!!!!. she was siked about that.
I to have another job interview on Monday at a hospital closer to my house with a HCA owned hospital. It will be working 4 10 hour shifts nights!!!!! I dont sleep anyway so why not work it!!!!!
Carl baught me a toshiba Thrive tablet but I want the Ipad. So when I get a fulltime job Im getting the Ipad and he can keep the thrive. 
We got our daughter a Nook and it isnt downloading boooks only apps. She is taking it back.
Prayers going strong for nancy, Susan, nan and whoever lese needs them.

I love my Ipad.  When you get it, download the free kindle app and you can get books from amazon too.  I love, love, love having books at my fingertips.  Plus, you get hundreds of old books free.   

 I have a kindle and I just got the Kindle Fire!!!!! Cause I left my kindle at my daughters house and she found it and she told her what I leave it is hers!!!!! I also down loaded the kindle app on my thrive so I am all kindled up. I also have it on my I phone!!!!!.

Good afternoon OFF!
I'm later than usual but that's OK.  I still enjoy my visit with all of you!
 My sisters were at my house for a couple of days and now I have a nice clean carpet!!  I have so much carpet Its easier to clean with help.  NOW when I get home Sat I can decorate for Christmas. 
Right now I am sitting in a hotel room in  Grand Rapids>  My best friends husband  is having surgery right now  and I will go up for a while after while when her stepkids have gone home  then she is staying here with me tonight.  This is closer to the hospital  than her home.  
Prayers going up for all of you dealing with health issues.    And for job seekers also!!!

Hugs Nancy and we are right here for you. Hang in there and do try to eat. Yep, Cancer centers like to have their patients plumper if possible so do try to eat and not lose any more weight. Did you ever think you would hear someone say to you to gain weight???
