Tues morning whats going on in your world?
Good morning Off friends.
Guess I am the first one here. Been several days since I could post. puter was acting up. We had a nice but busy holiday weekend.
Today I am cleaning the carpets so I can get the Christmas stuff out and tree up. Of course when I have a million things to do my back and hip start hurting! You know how that goes! But its just pain and that can be dealt with. I do not deal with a lot of the things many of you on here.
Keeping you all in my prayers. Have a good Tuesday!

Good mornin' ya'll.
Our poor DIL stopped by on her way to work. She only lives 6 doors down, got just passed our house and had to turn around. She had 'tummy troubles'. She had taken an imodium at 4AM. She called to say she would be late. Waited through a couple more trips to the bathroom, then went on to work. Hope she lasts the day!
I am trying to coordinate a trip to TJ for a pouch reduction of my sleeve. I really hope I can get that done before Christmas.
Nothing really planned for today!
Have a fantabulous day!

Good Morning Jo and OFF sisters to follow,
I have been sleeping later than usual because of the anemia. I have to wait till tomorrow afternoon for my iron infusion. Argh!
Today has me heading to Rite Aid to pick up my pain medication. I can't take narcotics, so I take Ultram, which is not as addictive as narcotics.
I hope to get to an AA meeting this afternoon. Not sure about my energy level. I have never felt this weak before in my life.
Sorry to whine. I just have so much to do, and no energy to do it.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Good morning Jo and Carolyn, and all my OFF sistas to come!
Sitting here this morning with a wiggle worm on my lap! Papaw is cooking the breakfast today because Benny only wants his Mimi to hold him.
Had a couple of really nice NSVs since the cold weather hit. My warm winter bathrobe is several sizes TOO BIG! Last year I could barely close it around my middle and this morning it wraps all the way around me. Also wore my cuddle duds out to the woods yesterday and they are so big! I never had long johns that were too big before. And I could wear my tall boots because my legs aren't so fat anymore. All very nice things to experience!
Seems that Chris and Benny will be here at least another week, maybe more. Auto shop has to order a new door and that can take a week to come in. Then another 3-4 days to make the repairs and repaint. Sigh. We love our daughter, but a little of her goes a long, long way, you know? However the up side is more time with Benny, and we are loving that. Always a silver lining if you can just look for it.
I've just about finished up my Christmas shopping. Butch got a little bonus this quarter, so I bought everyone a brand new Nook Tablet! Oh, I can hardly stay away from mine! I want to play with it so much. But I'm trying to be a good girl and wait for Christmas. I also bought the family a Wii to play with down at the lakehouse. I am super excited about playing Mario again. We always loved to play that game back when the kids were little. And I got Butch the Cabela's Big Trophy Hunting game for Wii. He will love it!
Well, I got interrupted by breakfast, so it's been quite a while since I started this post. Better get it sent before it disappears or something screwy.
Love you all!

Hi Jo and my OFF family:
Jo, I hear ya about dealing with back and hip pain ... that and knee, foot, shoulder, elbow, finger, etc., etc., ... you name it, I have it.
It is sunny but still chilly ... not as cold as yesterday, though. It got down to the 30s last night. I hauled out my heavy coat, and there I see people walking around with shorts and short-sleeved t-shirts, no coats. Are these people down here thick skinned? I'm freezing.
Last night went better at work ... late stories with the Saints playing but it went smoothly and I was complimented at the end of the night by the sports editor I was working with. I was so tired and still didn't get home til 1 a.m. I needed to get out this morning but I decided just to sit at home and rest. I have to take some packages out to mail before work.
Well, that's all from me. Hope y'all have a good day.

Jo and OFF Friends-
Late posting today. Last day off for the next four days so I had lots of chores planned for today.
Built myself a storm door in the RV using the shrinkable plastic sheeting that you can make storm windows out of. The last few days have been chilly and had to work on keeping warm. Covered the old vent area for the RV frig to block the cold air coming in there now. We'll see how that helps. Of course since I'm volunteering for the government I don't have to worry about the electric bill or the propane bill but I try to keep my usage low. The Department of Interior especially Fish and Wildlife doesn't have enought money as it is and will take more cuts this year so every penny helps.
Went to the new chiropracter today. He took xrays and showed me how my pelvis is crooked. Adjusted me and I felt better. He also gave me a shim for my left shoe to straighten my pelvis and relieve pressure on right hip. We'll see how it works. The receptionist has the finger nails on blackboard voice when she answers the phone but seemed nice.
I'm struggling with candy these days. Have to take accountability for it with you all today. I sent my Mom her advent box today. We started this several years ago when I bought her an advent box with a door for each day in December. Filled it with her favorite candies and small gifts. The next year she sent it to back to me. It's my turn to send it back to here. To save money I'm not sending the box with the doors but just sending her the goodies. She has a rule that you can send her anything for Christmas unless it's usable or edible. Thus the candy issue. I packaged little bags of kisses, orange slices and peppermint patties last night. Thanksgiving started it. Got to get it back under control fast. Don't want to go backwards and defeat my gains.(rather loses). Help me with some kicks in the butt.
Eileen- will be swinging the chickens for you and your job interview. Doesn't look like it's going to be good traveling weather.
Grammylew - make sure you ask for a bougie size under 40 for better restriction. I don't know what is the common size for band revision surgeries. My doctor used a size 39.
Vickie- sorry to read about your daughters bi-polar disease. My grandmother was bi-polar and I have a dear friend who is bi-polar. I have another friend who has struggled with her 38 year old daughter for the last 18 months. She's been in and out of rehab 4 times. Jail three times. Now living with her and I sweat the child is bi-polar based on the mood swings, rants, screaming, physical attacks, etc... that she has subjected my friend to in the last three months.
Hope everyone else is well.

Good evening OFF family, I'm bringing up the rear again!
Well it's snowing here in Kalamazoo and have over 3 inches of snow and it's that heavy snow.
Went to the Internist today. Guess what I have to do now? Okay...I have BM's almost every day but he wants me to drink (combined together of equal parts) Prune juice and applesauce.
I said to him "No ****"??? and he cracked up laughing. I love my internist.
So what I have is just more complications of my emergency small bowel obstruction surgery. I'm holding off having surgery once again to remove adhesion's. I want to wait at least another 6 years. The pain is getting more frequent and almost every night I have to take a pain pill before I go to bed. So I will remain positive and upbeat and just keep moving. Also the doc wants me on a soft diet for awhile, so it's back to scrambled eggs, more yogurt and protein shakes. I have to stay away from those damn crackers and yucky carbs that I don't need. Life goes on and I'll make the best of it.
I went to a resale store today and got 3 brand new shirts for hubby, 2 Christmas sweaters for me and a black pair of pants. Score one for me!
