Weight Loss Surgery @ 60 yrs. old - transformed my life!

I've been obese for 40 years!
It all started during my child bearing years. After many years of failed dieting I decided my only hope was weight loss surgery. I didn't rush into it. From day of conception to surgery was one year. I did my homework and a lot of praying. I decided WLS was way less riskier than open heart surgery and the myriad of other health concerns that would no doubt increase the older I got.
In just 3 months I've accomplished what I couldn't in 40 years...50 lbs. off and counting! I have no regrets and love my sleeve!

CONGRATS!!!! And I see you had one of the great dr's from Grand Health Partners!!!! :-) My dr was Dr Foote. Love that dr!!!!!

You look so good! So proud for you. I am nine months out and down 87+ pounds. I know just how you feel! Isn't it wonderful?
