age restrictions for sleeve?

Hi -

My dad is in his 60's - I was wondering what the usual age restriction is for the sleeve.  Anybody 65+ who has had it?  I think he's otherwise pretty healthy, but bad heart problems run in our family, so really would like to see him get to a good weight.

I just had a revision from band to sleeve, about 2 months before I turned 64. My age was not a factor. But I have no co-morbidities. No high blood pressure, no high cholesterol, no diabetes. But I am a gallbladder cancer survivor.
I imagine he will have to check with his doctor.
At the moment I wish I had had my band tubing repaired and not had the sleeve. But my surgeon is sure he can make me happy. I sure hope so.

I had rny in jan. at 65 no problems down 110 lbs.
