Found out Nettie died
I found out yesterday, when I talked to my cat rescue friend Jeanine in Michigan, that my cat Nettie died about a month ago from pancreatic cancer and kidney disease. She was 17. I had to leave her behind because she had diarrhea. She was probably sick with it back then, only I didn't know it.
Also, Diva, who is 13, has kidney disease pretty bad and is probably not long for this world. I surrendered Diva to Jeanine because she was pooping outside the box right before I had my second knee surgery. For the new folks, these two cats are ones I had in Michigan; they're on my profile. Nettie is the orange and white fluffy cat; Diva is the brown cat; she is an Abysinnian.

I am so sorry you had to surrender these cats, and that one has died. I had to surrender my cats when I kept getting sick with allergies and sinus infections several years ago. I cried all the way home.
