Thanksgiving Gratitude What's Up?
I am not feeling that great at this late hour, so I am up watching some NCIS reruns.
Thanksgiving will see me at an AA meeting first thing in the morning. Then, I must scoot over to a friend's house to pick up a sugar free apple pie from her parents' farm stand business. I also must hit Walmart to pick up some Kuerig coffee to take to my sis-in-law's. She is having a small, quiet dinner with just her kids and me. She made a crustless sugar free pumpkin pie, so between the sugar free apple and her pumpkin, I will be able to enjoy dessert. I also made homemade cranberry sauce with Splenda. I will be able to enjoy dinner immensely now.
This year I am grateful for a great many things. Most of all, my family, especially my kids and grandchildren. Plus, my friends in real life, and here on OH. I am truly blessed.

Guess nobody wanted to post today because they were busy or gone away for the holiday? Me, I am sitting here taking a break from making the flowers and hooking them on...one more row to go and the 2nd afghan is done!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I will not start he 3rd one til we are moved. I can get that one done in about 2 weeks if I make the effort which I have no choice now but to do it!!!! I CAN DO IT!!!!!
Welllike I mentioned a few days ago I asked Rick to call his mom and daughter and have them over for dinner today. Nicole and Anthony stopped over but did not eat. FINE. His mom called early this morning to see what time we wee eating. Rick told her 2. Everything was ready at 2 and nobody here but me and Rick!. FINE. We waited til 230...finally we said WTF and ate our meal which was on the cold side by then. We ate in silence both of us upset over making all this food and just us to eat it. 330 comes and a knock on the door. Mommy dearest and her other son and his "friend" and their roommate are finally here. FINE. I told them their dinner was on the table and to go eat it!!! They just sat there. WTH? Finally she gets up to look at the food on table. Asks can I have some of this? I said I told you the food was on the table and to EAT! What part of EAT didn't you understand? I left it at that. Roommate said he wasn't hungry because THEY ATE SOMEPLACE ELSE and he couldn't eat anything else right now!!!!!!!! WTF and WTH!!!!!!!!!! She knew they were supposed to eat here and then they ate elsewhere??????????? OMG I so wanted to slap the woman but didn't!!!!!!! I am just pissed right now with all this leftover food which we will not eat before it goes bad or we move...HOW DARE she?????????????? Am I wrong to be upset? I just can't wait to get the hell away from here!!!!!!!!! And HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
