Monday Monday, What's Happening?
Well, I am enroute to home today. Actually, I am still awake from watching my Eagles spank the Giants. What a good game it was.
Anywho, I am heading home, and once I get home, I must hit the lab for my PT INR. Then, to Petsmart to pick up Utley. Then, home again, home again, jiggity jig.

My cold is a lot better, just have to get past the coughing when I go to bed. spent part of last night in the recliner...
Working today and tomorrow mornings, then have Wednesday off to prepare for Turkey Day...not going overboard on food, as there will only be
four of us to eat.

Still super busy here with the baby! Oh, he's a live wire all right. He's keeping me on my toes.
We got a bit of a late start yesterday afternoon, but then we shopped til we dropped. We had a good time shopping in Sam's Club. OMG. They were giving away samples of everything. We snacked our way through the whole store! Ended up buying a pumpkin cheesecake (for everyone else's dessert) after trying a sample of that. I could only eat one tiny nibble of it, it was so rich and so sweet. I'll be making a sugar free lemon ricotta pie for DH (who is diabetic) and myself. I'll post the recipe later today if I have time.
Got several more Christmas presents crossed off my list yesterday. Always a good feeling.
Finally heard from Butch! Got a one-line email this morning. Says he has a ticket to fly home on the 22nd and should be arriving in Houston on the 23rd. Nothing like cutting it close, eh? OMG. Can you imagine the mob scene at the airport on Wednesday? I'd better leave even earlier than usual to allow for the crazy traffic on Wednesday.
Has no one heard from Grammylew? I'm thinking about contacting some of her family via FB, just to make sure she's all right. Or do you think that's too pushy? I haven't been on OFF all that long. Do people sometimes drop out without a word? I don't know the protocol here.
Well, my little man needs his breakfast, so I'd better get started. Hope you all are enjoying this short work week!

Afternoon OFF family!!!
Been out doing errands today and finally home waiting for Rick to get here so we can go find a dam truck for us to move with!!!! Went to get insurance on the truck, had it E-checked and it passed...good thing!!!! LOL Came back home waited til it was time for me to go to pain dr appointment. Saw the dr and he said I was looking really good today!!! I told him great!!! Because I stopped taking those pills!!! He said why? I told him I quit my job and was moving to a new one and all the rest that went with it...he was shocked at first but the more I talked the more relaxed he became about my new adventure he wished me well and said hope things keep me as happy as I am right now!! I told him I wanted to keep him as my pain dr and he said fine. I asked if he would give me another script for vicodin incase I needed it after the move and he did that for me. He said if I needed to start the Sevella again to do so slowly and not to throw them out...I promised.
Well my brother just called me to wish my a Happy Birthday and that was nice of him! Told me mom started the stove on fire!!! OMG!!!! She turned the wrong burner on!!! They have covers over the burnes and that is what smoked the house up!!! OMG!!!!! All is ok so that is good!!! He told her to sit and stay till he came back home from what he had to do.
Rick is home so off we g looking for a rental truck!!!

Where is everyone today? It's 1 p.m. and only four people?
I slept til noon. Came out and Juliette was sitting on her scratcher, looking so pretty. Finishing up my protein shake. Back to work this evening.
Not much going on here; it's 82 degrees and muggy. Can you believe that? Nearly Thanksgiving and I still have the a/c on.
Finally heard the total on the layoffs of my former workplace: from the Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Kalamazoo papers combined, 550 people. Amazing. Now, they can reapply for their jobs, but the pay/benefits will be less. How did they run those places into the ground in 12 years?
Oh well, have a good day.

I too have been wondering about Carolyn and Mag. Hope they get in touch with someone soon.

Hubby is still having big problems with his knee. It's bone on bone and he needs a knee replacement but the ortho doc said he was too young! 55 is not too young when you got bone on bone but he continues to go to the doctors and we will see what pans out.
I did go to my church on Sunday. Interesting...no one in Bible study but me made a comment. Well I will admit I do confront so I think I make some people uncomfortable...but oh well it sure would be boring if we were had the same thinking!
The deer are running and there are hunter's all over in my area. I can't go outside for a walk with my doggies cuz I'm afraid I'll get shot! Gotta buy me some bright orange shirt or something. I did workout downstairs but I just love going outside for my walks.
My barn kitties are growing up and they are so cute, I've been bringing them in the house everyday to love on them. The long haired tiger/calico colored kitty is getting more brave and has walked up to the house from the barn. Since I bring the kittens in the house and the dogs are used to them everything is okay in our pet world. Jake my chihuahua/peekapoo mix will clean their ears and cuddle with them.
All the grown kids are going to their in-laws for Thanksgiving so I don't think we will be cooking a big dinner and that's fine with me. I do have Thursday and Friday off then I start my 6 day stretch again. Hubby is thinking about going 4-wheeling in Kentucky leaving Saturday and coming back on Wednesday. It all depends on his knee and how he is feeling. Hugs and prayers for all in need. Talk to ya tomorrow! Debbie
