Well, crap
Can't imagine this is any fun for you, but try to be thankful that at least they acknowledged their error and no one tried to "cover it up" to save their own skin. You know there are people who would rather hide a mistake than own up to it. Thank goodness they told you and you can now deal with it.
Praying for you!
Then,,,,,I got a letter saying that I had missed my appointment, please call to reschedule. I called FOUR times to reschedule before I got a call back. THEN, it was a new scheduler who made an appointment for me in SIX months. The Dr's nurse called me two days later to see if it had been figured out. She is the one who got me in yesterday. I was told yesterday that the Dr was delayed in surgery and was running behind. I waited as long as I could before I had to leave to go back to work. When the Dr called me, she said " I was told you stopped by today".
Stopped by????
I have a call in to Administration.

Praying all goes well with the lumpectomy. I hope it turns out that it is nothing to be concerned about.
Love and hugs....connie d
Suson,
The lumpectomy is a simple procedure and it is better to get it out. The labs make mistakes all the time and the good thing is they came clean. Some don't. You will get through this and all will be well. I had a lumpectomy a couple of years before wls and I get regular mamos. I have to tell you that the lumpectomy scared me as it is scaring you. But, the good news is they found it and it is a damn good thing they did. YOu take some time to think through this, but in the end, you are going to bounce back with only a small scar and a little dimple on the boobie. My hubby says the scar gives me character. HAHA. YOu will be fine. You have to be fine: you're the captain of this damn food ship and we cannot sail without you.
