Today is Zumba and this evening my friend and I will do foxtrotmania.  I also meet with my trainer.  Yesterday, I said, Look at my arm muscle and he said, but we haven’t worked your arms.  I said, oh.

Connie be careful in your walking and Susan what’s up with the marathon practice?

Yeah, watch that trainer noticing things. Before you know it you won't be able to lift your arms above your waist....lol

Leaving tomorrow for Mountain Home. Half marathon on Saturday morning. The way things are going (see my other post) I may start walking and just keep going

I let him know that I don't want to be a muscled up old woman.  He told me that there isn't a chance of that.  Because of my back and knees and hips, I had to get a doctor's release and the doctor gave him my limitations. So, we do go slowly.

Good luck on the marathon and Mt. Home is so cool and pretty.  Have fun.

I'm moving, but not in the gym. . .  my life this past week has been way too busy and tonight and tomorrow is no exception, my first day of rest will be Saturday and/or Sunday, depending on what Tony and I do. . .

back is finally feeling better, however, I still need to find out what the weakness is in my left leg, it's in my lower thigh area and when I go up stairs, feels like my leg can't hold the weight, so I have to hold on. . .

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

A busy life can be good but be careful to take care of yourself.  Don't neglect your mental health.  Take some time to deep breath and focus.

Does chasing a two year old, and a four year old count as moving?  Because, that is all I have done this week.

I have to wait for official clearance from my podiatrist to do serious exercise, because my toes are still pretty swollen and sore.

I am no loafer, but serious exercise is not in my agenda just yet.

Hugs,
Trish

well…chasing babies takes a lot of energy.  And, easing into exercise is a good way to begin.  At our age, we don't have to do a lot to get the metabolism up and going.

 Hello Jeannie!!

I am sore (hip)from walking so am only going to do my weights today. If I feel better I may go out for a walk later.

Foxtrotmania...LOL!!! You always give me the giggles!!

Connie, ease into it.  Don't over do it or you will be taking steps backwards.  So, give your hip a rest and try again in a couple of days.

Thanks for understanding Jeannie.

I felt like such a failure. Now my mind is at ease. Yes I do need to listen to my body!!
