Karen, I'm with you on that, the things I do repetitively are ok, but the things I do only on occasion, I have a hard time with, guess it is the aging process, because I certainly was not like this 10 or so years ago. . .  but the less I worry about it, the better I do at remembering too. . .

Hey Carla,

The Kindle Fire has it's limitations, but since I have an android phone which makes up for those, the Kindle Fire fit my budget as well as seems to be doing what I wanted from such a thing.  Still exploring it, but so far so good and I have the Kindle app on my android and since I am a member of Amazon Prime, I get lots of features that allow me to watch loads of movies for free, books I can borrow and while it only has 8 g onboard harddrive, I can store stuff in the cloud and download as I want to use it.  But we'll see over the next couple of weeks whether it lives up to it's hype.

Hope you have a very wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Good Morning Jeanne, Susan, those to come,

I have had a very busy few days, that have gone into the evenings and today is not going to be much different, as I have our 3rd Wednesday of the month support group to facilitate and that runs from 7 to 8:30/9:00 p.m., so truthfully, while I am looking forward to it, I am counting down the days to next week, when I leave for Florida to spend time with my grandchildren and daughters that live there, which will be somewhat relaxing.

Last night I was so tired, I went to bed before 9 and fell asleep rather quickly, though I was awakened by a terrible toe cramp that lasted a good 10 minutes or so, some days when I get too busy, I drink too little water and that creates what happened last night, this is only the 3rd time in the past 4 years this has happened, but I know right away why, so that makes it an easy fix, pay attention and get my fluids in, duh!!!

Otherwise all is well, Jeanne, your shopping expedition sounds like fun to me, which is funny because I never liked shopping before, now I try to keep myself from doing it, though I might spend a little time at Khol's before I head up to Barix tonight, since I have a 30% off coupon and could use a few things.

Guess that about covers it, hope you all have a great day and for those of you facing life challenges, as always, I wish you peace and strength to face them.

Hugs, Laureen

Good morning, sistas!

Karen, I have a friend with the same problem with her Iphone.  Hmmmm.  Maybe I won't ask Santa for a new phone this year after all!

I have a super busy day ahead.  This morning I have to prime the ceiling and the walls in the guest bath.  That should be worth a few paint splatters, so I'll put a bandana on my head and wait to shower until after I finish!

Then this afternoon, Mom and I are going into San Antonio.  We're going to babysit Benny while my daughter and her boyfriend go for marriage counseling.  (Got my doubts about how effective that is right now!)  Then we're all going shopping at the Outlet Mall.  So we'll see how the day goes.  Mom is always cranky these days, and Chris will probably be cranky, too, after counseling.  Maybe Benny and I can cheer them up, but then again, maybe not. Y'all pray for me to have lots of patience today, okay?

I guess I'm in another one of my stalls.  Sure would be nice to see the scale drop a pound or two this week.

Hope Mag is recovering from her knee surgery.  Hope Nan and Nancy are having good days.  Hope Trish is enjoying her visit with her munchkins.  Hope we hear something from Grammylew today.  I'm worried about her absence.  Connie, hope you are having a pain-free day today.  Judy, good luck with training today.  Monica, glad you are enjoying your reunions with friends at the RV park and that hot tub!  Oh, how I miss my hot tub while we're here at the lake.  Really hope Eileen hears something about a new job today!  C'mon and CALL her already!

I want you all to have a GREAT day today!  Love you all!

Hi Vickie,
I am having a blast spoiling these Munchkins.  I will share more, but thanks for thinking of me this morning.

These kids are keeping me hopping.

Hugs,
Trish

Just popping in to say hello -- I am doing fine -- getting my head and heart pretty well back to normal.  Had an enjoyable day yesterday -- went to a senior's luncheon at noon, then got my car washed and serviced, and swept out the garage in the afternoon.
It was beautiful here -- warm and sunny -- today it is cold with a threat of snow showers tomorrow.

Peace and love to all,

Pat, Ouch! I can't even hardly imagine joining the dating world again. I know you have to risk being hurt in order to find job, but I'm sure it's hard to muster up the courage to give it another go after getting hurt. I am reminded of the saying, "You've got to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince!"  A lot of truth there. Best wishes.  You're a wonderful lady, don't ever "settle" for someone that is not worthy of you!

Thanks Karen -- I am learning .......really can't trust guys on line, and I've even checked them out on Google.....gonna not do the online thingy for a while...I know there are some good guys on there, but they are few and far between.  There are a couple gentlemen in my church that could be contenders, but I'm not sure how to approach them....don't want to seem forward... I definitely won't settle -- I'm worth much more
than that, even if I do say so myself.

Thanks again -- what would I do without my OFF FRIENDS!!!
