 Good Morning OFF Family,
Boy, did I have a weird night.  I let Utley out to go potty around midnight.  Then, around 12:30, I felt something wet near my feet.  He had peed through my comforter, blanket and sheets, all the way down to the protective mattress pad.  Argh.  I had to strip the bed, and wash the entire set of bed covers.  I also had to clean off the mattress pad, and turn the fan on in my bedroom to dry it.  Since I could not sleep on the bed till it dried, I slept in my rocking chair in the living room.  I knew I wouldn't be able to get comfortable on the couch.  I waking up, changing what was in the washer and dryer.  Around 6:00 a.m. I was able to make the bed, because everything was dry.

Today, I am heading to a car wash to vacuum out my car, I got most of the junk out of it yesterday.  I also have to go to the Salvation Army to drop off a box of stuff.  Then, I head up to my therapist's, who I have not seen since prior to my surgery.  Tonight, I hope to see my son, Sean, while he is in town, as I am leaving tomorrow for Michigan.  I hope to see Jo while I am out there next week.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.  Prayers being said for those who need, and those who don't need.

Hugs,
Trish

Morning all, sober 378 days and so proud of me.
Strange how animals act at times. Sorry you had to go through the mess and clean up.
Grateful for sleeping in our own bed. Grateful we made the trip safely and with little drama, congestion, or construction. Amazed how many drivers hog the left lane, like it is their personal lane.
Also amazed at the widespread destruction the northeast experienced with the snow storm.
Our new grand child, Lincoln Jane is wonderful. She is a happy baby and reflects the happy home she lives in. Our Emma and Alex are adjusting well. We had super fun with all. Sad that we did not get to visit with others we had hoped to see. Decided to return early due to weather prediction of possible ice and snow on Thursday.
All unpacked and last load of laundry is in dryer. RV is under construction with furnace repair. Can't wait to see what this costs, but it had to be done. Wasps had made nests in the outside furnace intakes and the unit had not been serviced in 6 years. AC unit also being addressed.
Our son, Angus in MT is doing well. Lots of fishing for him and he is such a great butcher, he is cutting down deer and elk for his many friends. Daughter Jess is good too, her new apartment is delightful and right in downtown, where the action is, Northampton. She does not drive and living in So Hadley did not work well.
Trying to catch up on old posts, so thankful Nancy B is doing well. Have a super Saturday, peace and fun. Grateful to be able to walk and strut, we had a lovely fast walk last night, Yoda had so many new smells to investigate.

Good Morning OFF Family...Happy Saturday!

Monica so proud of you 378 days sober!! Whhoooooooo!

I'm working a double today, hence the early post. The snow is melting in Michigan and I can see green grass again, I'm not ready for winter. Ugh!

Went to my middle stepdaughter's jewelry party she had yesterday. I ordered a ring and necklace for Rozzie my oldest grandchild since she was there and could pick it out herself.
Bought me a pair of earrings and a ring. Can't remember the name of the company but the party was fun. Needed fun after my SIL had to put his fur baby down yesterday. Retail shopping! LOL

Singing at church tomorrow with our Praise Team, hopefully I can go right to sleep when I get home tonight!
My 3 barn kittie's are growing and learning to cuddle, they are all ready litter trained. Momma cat will get fixed as soon as she is done nursing her babies.

Hugs and prayers for all in need. Debbie

Good  Morning OFF friends.
Its cold here in Michigan!  I have a sneaking suspicion that winter is on the way!  I haven't posted for a while but do remember each one here in prayer.
We had a garage we were building blow down a month ago in a huge windstorm and it punctured our motor home so now we are rebuilding the building and looking for a new or another used motor home!   Hubby is doing the first,  I am just sorting  a million nails to see which can be reused.  Of course looking for the right motor home is fun.   Hubby and I don't spend enough time together and I am enjoying this!
Have a good weekend everyone!    Prayers continuing for all with health issues or anything else that needs prayers!
I get to meet Trish next week!   Looking forward to that!!!  and maybe Carla thanksgiving week!!

Good Morning Ladies,

Our neighborhood is having yard sales today. I want to sell my couch and chair set. Also wanting to sell my piano. That way I'll have some money and Ellen can get her stuff out of storage.

Not but a few days until my surgery. I have mixed emotions about it. We will see how much pain I am in after I start feeling my leg.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

So, Trish, how do you feel about the Phillies picking up Jonathan Papelbon for their closer? Good pitcher. Hope he can help you.

Well, I have a hopeful sign ... I got a call from a job and the guy said I'm No. 1 on his list. Keep your fingers crossed, swing chickens, say prayers, whatever. This could be a good one. Closer to home, more promising ... I'm hopeful. I should hear back about an interview today.

I couldn't sleep either. I got up at 4:30, tossed and turned for awhile, then took a muscle relaxant because back/knee hurt; then finished up my book: "A Murderous Procession." It's an historical mystery novel. Very interesting. There's a couple of books about this "Mistress of Death," a woman in medieval times who practices medicine and autopsy, which were forbidden by the church. Plus her lover and the father of her child is a bishop. So lots of interesting things in there. I think I must have read the third book of the series first; I have another of her books (got them on sale); will have to read that one next "The Serpent's Tale".

It was chilly this morning; since I was up, I started laundry. Last night, I was taking my night pills and vitamins, and my potassium pill got stuck, and eventually I upchucked it all over my afghan and nightshirt. So I had to wash those ... decided to leave it for this morning ... went out with a robe on and it was in the low 40s this morning ... brrrrr!

No big plans today; I'm off, doing laundry, making salsa chicken, hopefully getting Halloween stuff put away and Thanksgiving stuff up (not very much of that).

Have a good day. Dryer just buzzed.

Good morning, my OFF sistas!

I am in full "Mimi" mode today.  All my little chicks have come home to roost.  It is so wonderful to have them all here.  I'm just waiting on them all to wake up so that I can cook breakfast for the whole gang.

Went shopping with my mom yesterday for some clothes to wear to the visitation in Houston for my uncle's funeral.  Shopping is still somewhat intimidating for me.  I tend to gravitate towards the plus sizes still.  But I made myself look at "normal" sized clothes first yesterday.  I found a red cowl neck sweater in size L that I liked.  So then I shopped for some black jeans and I managed to find some that are just barely long enough.  (Remember, I'm 5'10".  It's very hard for me to find pants off the rack.)  I'm very pleased with these jeans, though, because they are so slimming!  They're a size 16 and they're not "full cut".  They're slim cut and actually fit my butt and my thighs.  And I can still button them at the waist.  Hurray!  I also had to buy a pair of black shoes and some black socks, but I'm ready to go now.

Talked to my DH and he STILL doesn't know when he might be coming home.  SO frustrating.  Maybe next Sunday.

Oops, the baby's awake. Gotta go!

Have you ever tried Jag jeans?  I have carried most of my weight in my mid-section and have skinny legs and no rear end to speak of.  I tried on Jag jeans last year and don't believe that I'll ever   stray.  I bought two pairs of "skinny" jeans; they have a small amount of spandex in them, which makes them fit better, and I love them.  They cost $110.00 here, but are probably cheaper in the US.
I'm 5' 7" and I have to roll up the leg b/c they are always too long, so they might fit you  -  luckily for me, rolling up the leg is in fashion.
I highly recommend them.
