Day 11: Today I am thankful for--
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Today I am thankful for getting to shake the hands of some veterans that came into the store today and thanks them for serving our country to keep us free!!! They were surprised that I did that!! And they thanked me for doing that and some had tears in their eyes!!! Made me feel good to do that!!!
I am also thankful for ALL our veterans that have served and are still serving our country!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!
Today I am grateful for all the soldiers, men and women, who sacrificed their lives to keep us all safe here in Canada and the US: My great Uncle Willie in WW1, my Dad who spent all of his teen years in POW camps, then joined the Canadian army when he got out…my two uncles both fought overseas, one being in the liberation troops in Holland where JBs family was in Amsterdam…my Aunt Doris in the Army, another, Uncle Steve, served in Korea as well. Cousin Leonard who never recovered from the horrors he lived over there, JB's youngest uncle died as a POW on the Burma railroad, prisoner of the Japanese, JBs grandfather died as a Forced Labour-Crane Operator, taken from Holland and made to use his floating crane to help the Germans clear the river of bombed out planes, ships and bridges...also a dear friend who is a Vietnam Vet. We will never forget their sacrifices.
