Monday, Monday....what's the word?
Good day all. Sober 372 days and so proud of me.
Enjoying our visit up north. Dressing in layers and wore my boots too.
Our new grandchild is a delight. She is a lovely gift. Everyone in the house wants to hold her so she is cuddled alot. Our Emma and Alex are wonderful. Lots of poker and snuggles. Today we take Alex for an outing.....going to see The 3 Musketeers and have lunch with our other daughter Jess.
Yesterday I cooked a family tradition, chix & dumplings, fresh green beans, and an apple pie. John's sister Mary came and had a really nice catch up after a year day. Also watched football and our Giants won, Sara's family are Patriots people so there was good hearted fun.
Our bodies are sore from the car trip and cold. Going to head back south on Wednesday instead for Friday due to weather issues.
Have to catch up on your posts friends. Have not been on line alot. Enjoy Monday and be well.

Good Morning OFF Sisters,
I am barely awake, but going to stay up today. I intend to get to my AA meeting, then head to my doctor's for my B12 shot and for him to check my upper respiratory area, because while my earache is gone, my sinuses are still a mess. I also still have a fever in the evening.
The rest of the day, I will be tidying some, and working on the bedspread for my granddaughter I am so frustrated by how messy the apartment is right now. My toes and fever have kept me from doing much at all.

Monica, glad you are having a good time. Grandbabies are the very best. They brighten up a dreary day and raise your spirits like nothing else can!
My DH and I jus****ched the made for TV movie 'Certain Prey' with Mark Harmon from NCIS playing Lucas Davenport. I love Mark Harmon and I love the "Prey" books. A great combination.
Today I am going to try our banks new thingy where you can scan a check and it is deposited into you account. Ain't technology grand. Keep this up and I may never have to get dressed or leave the house again! Nahhh, my DIL would call my daughter and I would be blitzed by both girls raising he** with me! I could get into just sittin' on my butt all day crochetting or sewing! My *****es cross stitch and thinks I should 'learn' that. I do not need another craft!

Good Morning Friends!
I am well rested, fell asleep watching something I turned on the tv last night while waiting for Tony to call to say goodnight and instead I fell asleep, somewhere about 9:45 he called and I turned the tv off and slept until just before the alarm went off at 4:50 a.m., so Roxie got her petting time, I had too much to get done this morning, due to the bake-off at work, so I packed gym clothes into the car and I will go this evening for 30 minutes, as for the first time in a while, I woke up and my back felt normal, so perhaps whatever was wrong has righted itself for the moment. I then made a pan of mac n cheese as last week I had a hankering for it, so I had made it healthy style with dreamfields pasta (last time) with the idea of sharing it, I had my small portion, got it out of my system and told my roommate, who loved it, that she she could have the rest; she ate it all week and loved it so much she asked if she paid for the ingredients, if I would make it for her this week, and so I did and she will be happy to have it when she gets home from her Mom's where she went yesterday.
At work, will make the noontime AA meeting and I can't wait to see how the bake-off goes, though presentation wise, I will not win because the cheesecake I made looks kind of plain, but I sure do hope it tastes good. After work, the gym and then home to veg out with the Roxie girl.
Hoping that Judy is ok, Nan, Nancy and I'm sending my thoughts for peace to be found amidst the stormy seas that are in so many of our lives.

Good morning all, sun is out, at leastfor now. Today is radation # 3, 2 more after today. Then chemo, not sure when that iwill be. I still feel great. I have lost 5 lbs. this week, probley not the best way, but oh well. It's funny, being on steroids if it's edibal I eat it!!!! I know it won't last.
