Monday, Monday....what's the word?
Coffee, coffeee, coffeee.
Today's weather, I think, is wet and cold. I am so happy. I hate the summer heat and am so happy that it is gone for another year. I love wearing jackets and sweaters. Plus, at the end of last winter, I bought a reallycute pair of boots and today I'm wearing them. Yeah!
Nothing big on my agenda: my days are so routine it is boring. One great bit of news, my website is going public.
The rest of my day is business as usual. I am meeting with one of the deans about a program that I proposed starting fall of next year. He and I need to iron out some of the rough spots before we move it up the chain, but he thinks that it will work. I teach on MWF too and the students are all starting to feel the stress of the end of the semester crunch. Other than work, exercise, and a little TV, I do not have a lot planned.
I am fighting off some sort of upper respiratory thing myself. I feel fine till around 3:30 p.m., then I get a low grade fever, and the accompanying headache. Plus, this afternoon, I dropped my laptop on the foot I had the toe surgery on. The side of the thing slammed my foot right above my toes.
Hope you feel better soon.
Hugs,
Trish
