Day 5: Today I am thankful for --
Today I am thankful for the wonderful friends I have made here on OFF, and for the love, support and wisdom that is to be found here on this forum. I have never belonged to a group quite as unique as this one. I think what we, as sisters in our journey of WL, have built together is extraordinary and beyond expectations. This forum, and that means each and every one of you wonderful ladies, has blessed and enriched my life immeasurably. Thank you all!
Today I am thankful for all my wonderful friends who have been there for my family and me through all that we have gone through, both my surgeries and recoveries and my kids' surgeries and recoveries. Could not have survived without all their love and support (and wonderful dinners).

Today I am thankful for my entire family. My born family, in-law family, children and their spouses and Munchkins. I have a friend who has nobody but friends in AA and church. No siblings, or children that care about her. Her kids despise her for things she did while using drugs. I am so blessed with a sister, sister-in-law, nephew, niece, and Mom who love me. My kids want me in their lives in spite of all the mistakes I made while raising them. Grace and forgiveness are such wonderful gifts from God and my children.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

I am thankful for the people who populate this board, those whose presence is greatly missed, as well as those who continue to find us and share their journey with us. It continues to amaze me that what is such a diverse group of people, from near and far, continues to thrive and grow with the one common denonminator, WLS. . . long may we share and support one another.

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
