It's Saturday, what are you eating???
Doing pretty well here, would be doing a lot better if a co-worker had left her damn Halloween candy at home! Oh well, moderation and restraint are the words of the day.
Had some changes in the menu for yesterday. Since I had to work late, Gary met me at the salon and we went to the Mexican restaurant across the street. They have an amazing chicken and rice soup loaded with chicken breast meat, pico de gallo and rice. Of course I brought more than half the bowl home, Gary will probably fini**** off for lunch.
Today:
protein coffee
lite english muffin w/ peanut butter
skinny vanilla latte
protein bar
leftover Mexican meatballs w/ brown rice
greek yogurt
the grilled cheese and tomato soup we were supposed to have last night. SEC football on tonight, so it's gotta be easy!
Planning on getting off work about 3:00, so I'll head to the river for a nice long walk

I will be getting on the elliptical when I finish on the computer.
It is a nicer day so I think I am going to try to get in a little walk later.
YESTERDAY:
B-High protein drink
L- pork roast and carrots (last of it now)
D-turkey and cheese and grapes
S- a handful of cinnamon teddy grahams (afternoon)
YES grrrrrr... a few pieces of candy corn and a peanut
butter cup (spread throughout the evening)
I am still doing way better then I was. I will try harder today.

This was a bad eating day for me.
B: one half of an English muffin with a tsp of butter
S: raisins
L: one slice of ham with one slice of cheddar and 1 piece of whole wheat bread
S: banana
D: 3 oz of new york strip and 1/2 baked potato with a little butter
S: banana chopped up with a small box of raisins sprinkled for flavor
Today was one of those days that I felt like I had to munch all day; hence, the raisins. I can eat two and stop and eat two more and stop I know it's grazing and I don't like to graze but when I graze, I try to do it with roughge types of food like celery or prunes or raisins.
B: tuna sushi (don't laugh)
S: raisins and cocoa roasted almonds
L: Red Robin Burger (half the bun) and 3 french fries
D: Slice of mushroom pizza and a slice of ham
S: 3 dates and 3 figs
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
