Day 4: Today I am thankful for --
Today I am thankful for my oldest daughter, Carrie. After many long years of teenage rebellion, trials, estrangement, and worry, we have emerged on the other side of the dark tunnel as BEST FRIENDS! We share many interests. Phone calls from her are a joy. Visits are cause for elation. I am so proud of my baby girl. Love you, Care Bear!
Today I am thankful that all my adult children are healthy and living good, full lives. I miss my daughters and look forward to seeing them in 3 weeks, tonight I will see my son.
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Today I am thankful for my parents. I am thankful that they are still in good enough health that they can live in the house I grew up in and do the things they love to do. I am thankful that they have good friends who are there for them when I am not (I live in Northern CA, they live in Southern CA), I am thankful that my son has gotten so much closer to them and visits them once a month while he is away at college. I am thankful that they have always been there to support me and my family and that they love us very much. LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!

I am grateful for all the challenges that I have faced throughout my life. Each and every one of them has made me what I am today. Obstacles and pain has made me strong, compassionate, tenacious and courageous. I have developed a wonderful sense of humour and much enlightenment from the different perspectives that I have been shown.
Thank you for all the challenges that has been in my life for they have each taught me a life lesson.
