Thanks for the sympathy. Things are better now. Hate that hormonal roller coaster ride once a month. When will it ever end?
It's only been 2 months since your surgery, so be patient with yourself. I remember I took a nap every day for the first two months, so it takes awhile to get back to normal.

Vickie, so sorry for all your problems today. I have those days too ... I have learned that listening to music seems to soothe me lately. Tuesday afternoon, when I was pissed off at CVS over my botched prescription, I went into work so angry that I couldn't think straight. I put my earplugs in, turned on some mellow music (James Taylor and John Denver will do it for me) and zoned out. And eventually, I calmed down. I came in wanting chocolate, but the music really did work. Got my mind off it.
Or ... if you want chocolate, try a chocolate protein shake or hot chocolate protein. Sometimes that will do it.
I am past menopause, but I do get the chocolate cravings ... I stick to dark chocolate and only one or two special dark with almonds nuggets a day ... and I let them melt in my mouth when I have them to savor them and then crunch the almonds.
If you need to talk, I'm off the next couple of days.

Eileen.....sorry to hear your friends will be losing their jobs. It is scary out there...so many unemployed people and so few jobs. I am glad you left Grand Rapids when you did. Hope you get some rest and also some relief from the pain!
I got Grace off to school. I love this little bit of quiet time .
Jamie is on her way to Florida. She just landed in Newark, New Jersey to connect with her flight to Florida. I hope she gets some much needed rest!!!!!
My wonderful cleaning fairy comes today. Thank goodness!!! With Grace sick last week I had to cancel and do the cleaning myself...UGH.
We had rain and freezing rain all day yesterday. It is better today as the sun is shining brightly!!

Sorry for all the lost jobs. It's a horrible situation to say the least. Hope and pray that those who are in pain will find relief.
I overslept today. Not going to get anything accomplished here at home this AM. Leaving shortly for my pre-op admission test etc. Then I will be in a 2 hour class that I must attend. The worst part is that it will be rush hour traffic for the drive home. Don't feel like eating breakfast but know it will be a long time until lunch. Trying to think of a snack to take with me,
