Day Two--I am thankful for . . .

WTG, Ladies!  Yesterday was a great start to the Thankfulness Game.  For those who are just joining us, I will start a thread each day in November listing one thing I am thankful for.  It can be a big thing or a small thing.  You can join in at any time and it's okay if you miss a day, too.  Just have fun and count your many blessings!

Today I am thankful for my husband of 30 years.  We met on an oil rig in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico in March, 1981, and we were married 2 months later on May 28, 1981.  To say he swept me off my feet would be an understatement!  He is loving, sweet, honorable, and the best man I have ever known.  I don't know what I did to deserve him, but he has made my life an adventure from day one.  And he has stuck by me, quite literally, through thick and thin!  I love my husband!

Today I am thankful for my kids.  My sons are 19 and 16 and growing up into wonderful men.  They drive me crazy, but I am thankful for the wonderful, smart, intelligent, caring people they are.  I am thankful that their Crohn's is finally under control with the right set of medicines and they can live healthy lives.  I am thankful that they have good friends and are making good choices.

Peace!

I am thank for living in an age where surgical intervention made the life I am living today a possibility and as a result I've been able to meet with a diverse group of people, both online and in support group, whose common bond, obesity, has brought us together to battle this disease and look for the common thread in what we can do to aid one another on this journey.

Have a great day, remember if you choose to seek the good in all things, life is doable

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Today I am thankful for all the friends I have. Mostly you all. I have gotten more support, laughs, great stories & hours of entertainment. And for my friends not online. Thank you all so much.

Today I am thankful for a low cost alternative for the replacement of my broken RV refrigerator.  One less thing to stress about.
