Carla, I never could sew a staight line. My grandmother worked with me but to no avail. Glad you have a new machine. I'm sure you will get great use out of it.
Monica, So very proud of you. You have spent the year making good choices for yourself. Pat yourself on the back for me.
I'm off and running. Another dentist appointment 2 hours away. Then meeting friends for lunch at one of my favorite places to eat. Then home to get things done here. Tried on 7 pair of blue jeans that were too small before. ALL of them are too big. I'm happy as expected but sad I wasn't wearing them when I could have. Just having trouble looking at an article of clothing and knowing if they will fit. I always think they will be too small.

Well we got home yesterday afternoon. What a long trip. It was well worth it, I already miss my son & the girls. Today Morgan is 9. What a blessing for all of us.
I have a Doctors appt at 11 this morning. My daughter tried to take me to emergency yesterday, I refused. The swelling is a little better, except in my neck. The purple spots are still there. I really want to find out why.
After picking up a few groceries & seeing the doc. the rest of the day is unpacking & relaxing. The dogs are sure glad to be home. Well, have a safe & happy halloween to everyone! Nan

Nan.....I am glad you are home and everything went well. I am sure you miss everyone and they misss you.

Hi Connie, I posted on Vickie's post. My Doctor has ordered chest & neck x-ray & a CT for tomorrow. I already feel better, less stress. She also had me do a blood test. Hopefully by the end of the week I will feel better. Have a wonderful halloween, & post pictures of Gracie & Nic in costume( if Nic still does that)

Hi Vickie, I went to the Doctor today. SHe had me do a chest & neck xray, blood work & a ct tomorrow. If anything gets worse go to ER . I feel better already. She thought my purple spots were odd, looks just vericose veins. I really like this Doctor, she is the one that found my cancer 11 years ago, & kidney stone 2 years ago. She doesn't stop until she figures it out. Thanks Nan

Carla....I am sure you will enjoy that new sewing machine. I used to sew everything. My clothes, kids clothes, costumes and on and on. Now I don't sew at all and haven't for years. My machine is in my storage unit with all the rest of my belongings. My daughter is thinking about bringing it here. She likes to sew and I have a better machine.
Today is my daughter Jamie's birthday. She has to have everything gluten free. I am going to the store and getting some cake or brownie mix. Grace and I will decorate what ever we make and have so much fun doing it!!
This morning Grace had her Halloween Parade at school. She wanted to be a Black Cat. You have to know Grace to understand she was no regular cat. Oh yes, she had the ears, tail, and the bow tie. Then she had her hair sprayed purple, and also wore a sparkly black tutu and black boots....she was a Rock Star Cat...LOL!!
Today is laundry day for me. I am going to try my best to eat healthier. Thank you Jeannie for the reminder to use a small plate. I informed my daughter to no longer let me use a large plate. I also want to thank Laureen and Debbie as they are always so helpful with weigh loss issues and great information.Time will tell!!
My good friend Mary called Friday. She definitely has breast cancer. She has an appointment to meet with a surgeon on Wednesday. It is pretty bad. Way more cancer then they originally thought. Please say a prayer for her if you can.
Nic goes to MN on Tuesday (tomorrow) for scans and such. Please pray all goes well and no new cancer is found.
