How much is too much?
I think the thing that attracts me to dancing is that when the music is playing, the exericse element of dance isn't as bad. In my dance class, the other dancers are all husband and wife. when I started, DH came along but never liked it. My gay friend tried to get his husband to come, but he just refused. So, eventually, DH stopped and my gay friend eagerly stepped up to the plate. We have gone from dancing together to driving all over hell and back looking in vintage clothing stores for the really cool things that new would cost too much.
You should start a dance class. If I were close enough, I would join.
I'm thinking about teaching again at the church I go to now.
I'll need to brush up on the new dances. When you dance you sure to use up the calories too.
Bars hate line dancers cuz they don't drink...so they don't make money on us. I did tell the bars to advertise and people love to watch people dancing anyway.
Keep dancing...it's the best!!!
I loved the one country western dance cruise I went on with my first husband. We went with 64 people we danced with and it was a blast. We danced in the hallway cuz the dance floor was too small for the dancers. At the time line dancing was in it's "heyday". They booked Neil McCoy, John Berry and Crystal Gail for the cruise. It was free to them and their family, they just had to do a few shows and schmooze with the passengers. Every one wore their cowboy/girl boots and hats and we didn't have any formal dinners, western wear was okay though-out the cruise except for one night that was "Captain's night".
Okay everyone...go dancing!!! Whaooooooooo! or Yeeeeehaaaaaaa!
