Hi Everyone, we will be getting some snow tonight and tomorrow. It is also going to be about 20 degrees. Brrr! This weekend we will be visiting our grandson in college. It will be fun to have him show us around. Sorry about you losing a good neighbor, Judy. They are hard to come by. Well, have a good week. Mona

Morning all, sober 359 days and so proud of me.
I am dropping pounds and not happy with it. Since the pouch is giving me problems lately, I am finding it scary to eat. I see my doctor in few weeks and have lab orders for later this week. The vertigo has gotten worse the last 3 days and makes getting around interesting. Thankful for my cane. I am faithful to doing the exercises from my therapists for the vertigo and leg strengthening.
Our new grandchild is home, she had a bout with jaundice, but finally got home Sunday.
We are getting packed for our trip north, strange to get winter clothes ready since we normally in shorts and bathing suits.
Wishing all a happy day. Vickie sorry hubby had to go back so soon. Hope he takes it easy on the leg. I know you are enjoying your weight loss journey.

Yikes Monica!!! Hope its nothing serious with your pouch!!! Could it be reflux? Are you taking your antacid pills like you should? Just asking is all I am not a dr...

My mom had that vertigo thing and they had her lay on a table and they had her head do some movement and her eyes did some rapid movement that meant her ears? were making the adjustment to make her stabalize again. I think that is how they explained it to me. Been a few years agao so not sure if I am remembering this right.  Had so many family health issuses going on I was overwhelmed back then I couldn't keep up with them all!  Hope you get yourself back on track again soon!!!

How far north are you coming?

Monica.....sorry I am posting so late.

I sure hope you find out what is going on with your pouch. That must be miserable!

I can only imagine how you are feeling with the Vertigo. That is so awful. My mother dealt with that for years. So glad you are using a cane. Please keep it close I wouldn't want you to fall and get hurt.

Also happy to hear the baby is home now. That will make things better for everyone.

Almost a year...359 days....I am so proud of you!!

Love ya....hugs....connie d

 Good Morning Everyone,
I have a killer sinus headache today.  Actually, it started yesterday, and did not go away.  Must be mold from the leaves falling, and staying on the ground.

Went to AC Moore, a craft store similar to Michaels and Joanns, but without the fabric.  Did not find the soft Special Olympics yarn I wanted, but did get some more yarn for Isabel's bedspread.  And, it was on sale.

My food has been off since the surgery.  I have not had much of an appetite because the one pain med I take is interacting with my antidepressant, causing me to have the dry heaves.  When that happens, I sip diet Coke and nibble on pretzels, which are whole grain, with 4 grams of fiber per serving.  I don't own a scale, so I have no clue if I have gained or lost yet.

Must scoot.

Hugs,
Trish

Hey, Trish!  Meant to tell you thank you for the link to the Special Olympics and the scarves.  I'm going to make a few, I think.  They will be easy "no brainer" projects for me in the evenings in front of the TV.  It's always easier for me to stay out of the kitchen (and snacks!) if I have a crochet hook and yarn in my hands!

You are very welcome.  Last year, I made three.  This year, I hope to make more.  I could not find the Red Heart Soft in any of my craft stores, so I ordered a bunch online.

Each year, Special Olympics changes the colors of the scarves.  There is always the blue in them, but last year the other color was called Turqua, which was really pretty.  This year's colors remind me of my high school's colors.  When I was in high school, my first crochet project was a red and blue poncho.

Thanks for supporting the athletes.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi Judy and my OFF family:

Glad you got some REM sleep; that's the first step. I find when I have dreams, I wake up feeling refreshed and in less pain. It's the deep sleep that does it. It allows your muscles to regenerate. Maybe it just takes Savella awhile to take effect.

Got my final papers from the settlement company so it's official: I'm no longer a homeowner. I'm so excited.

Kinda sleepy today. I slept til after noon and just finished lunch. I had some of my leftover baked ziti; put too much on my plate, so it will go back in the fridge ... couldn't fini**** Got to get ready for work soon.

Anyway, have a good day.
