It's Thursday, how y'all doing?

Judy, hope you can figure out something to help your pain. I know I had a while to figure out what helped me. It took sometime to get the right meds and routine for pain relief. Make sure you get enough sleep, that's the first step, because fibro is a sleep-based disorder. You can't get the microtears in your muscles to heal if you don't get proper sleep (you can look this up on line).

Good luck with the kitty. A coworker has a cat indoors with some dogs (daschunds); the dogs are used to cats and love them, usually taking gave of kittens that have been brought indoors. The cat, a sleek black cat name Ebeneezer (who is still a kitten, about 6 months old), gets along well with the dogs, although sometimes as they're going by, he likes to take out his paw and whack them playfully. Luckily, as I said, the dogs like him.

Well I was told they hired someone for working nights and I start training them next week. So while I get my "note" for drinking my water at work I am gooing to have the dr tell them I need to work only early shifts so I can get my REST also!! This working til 9 and then up for the early shift next day doesn't give me time to rest at all or regroup. See what dr says about it. I know I am not sleeping good at all with the "elephants" above us with all their stomping and noise they make. I have the fan on to drown out their noise. Its chilly enough in here and not sure how long I can keep that up. I know Rick turned the fan off last night when he came to bed and I was sleeping. I woke up to noise and turned it back on again. MAD ofcourse that I was woke up. Sighs...he doesn't get it either about me needing sleep!! He can sleep through anything...Me..I need QUIET!!!!!!!

Bandit liked Squirt back in michigan but its been over 3 years since he's been around him. So this kitten is new and ofcourse he is jealous. Its going to take time and the kitten is sleeping all day and up at night when we go to bed...lol go figure. He could be out playing with me now while Bandit is at the groomers but he wants to sleep. SO hopefully soon things will be happy around here for ALL of us!!! Buster is 6 months old and should be full of play...hope he is ok...what do you think? He has had all his shots and everything.

Judy....did you ever think of getting a noise machine. They are great....my granddaughter has one in her room. It can be set to all different sounds. She likes the gentle rain or babbling brook, sometimes she wants crickets...eeeewwwww. She sleeps great and doesn't wake up with all of us up and running around.

Also, I use my air purifier or now with winter I will be using my humidifier....they make noise and isn't disturbing.

I like the sound of the fan but it will be too cold to have that running soon.

Good luck....or better yet get an Elephant Gun!!

Love ya...Hugs....connie d

Here I am bringing up the rear -- I didn't post yesterday because I was not fit to talk with anyone.

I now am sorry I ever got back into dating.....even tho' I was lonely before, at least I wasn't losing my mind!!
I was down to just the guy from nearby -- having broke it off with the other two......then I find him on facebook with all kinds of women....still in touch with them too.....I lost it!    I broke it off, but he called me this morning all lovey dovey and wanting to get back together.....what does he think I am -- an idiot???
It's not worth losing sleep all night last night, my tummy hurting so bad, I cried -- couldn't eat, couldn't drink, couldn't keep anything down.....so there you have it....as far as I am concerned I am going back to being a lonely old woman......

On another note, it feels like winter here -- temps in the 30's and so windy and gray.  Had to wear my winter coat out to Wal Mart for some shopping.

Many peaceful thoughts and well wishes for all my friends here -- thank god for all of you.

Love and hugs,
Pat r.

Ah, Pat, men are pigs ... Having never been in a relationship, I can say this (lol). You are not a lonely old woman, you have plenty of friends, family, your children, etc. I have never considered myself lonely or old (well, maybe old ... I kid the youngsters at work about this all the time). ... I have lots of friends of both sexes. But then, I have never been married or in a relationship with a man, so I don't know what I've missed.

Wish I could wrap my arms around you and give you a big hug. You are loved, by many people. Here's a cyber hug ...

 Hi Pat,
I am sorry you are hurting because of a broken relationship.  Better to learn his ways now, then when you were more committed.

I have been single for ten years, after a 25 year marriage, my entire adult life having married at 18.  I dated a few guys, but they were jerks, and I don't regret not being in a relationship right now.  I have learned to be content single.  I have friends at church and in AA, and we do things other than church or AA.  I also spend as much time as possible with my children and grandchildren.

Take care of yourself.

Hugs,
Trish

Pat.....so sorry he is being such a jerk....remember leopards don't change their spots.....if his mouth is moving he is probably lying.

No ....no one is worth losing sleep and not eating over....you have made the right choice.

He obviously is a womanizer.....you and all the others are hearing the samethings .....I am sure...... move on.

Good luck....hugs.....connie d

Thanks Connie, what sealed it was receiving a message from one of his old girl friends on FB....confirming exactly what I had thought....that he's a player.  You're right at age 72 he's never gonna change.  Good riddance and you know what, I am okay with it today......and I'm moving on with my life.

Thanks for the hug,
Pat
