It's Thursday, how y'all doing?
It was a crazy night at work, and boy, am I glad I have two days off. I'm pooped. I thought all I had to do tonight was just six pages of one sports section. Well, for some reason, we were shorthanded again (don't know why). So I had two pages from another paper and originally, two from a third paper. That would have been 10 pages. But then one page came back.
I came in with a headache, so all this was not welcome, and I was a bit crabby at first. I hunkered down and started working on my pages because I knew it was going to take awhile. My boss messages me about midway through telling me I had some extra pages (like I didn't know this already); I told her I knew and would get it done as quickly as possible but I was going to be behind doing my other stuff. She said well, she wouldn't be able to give me any help because of all her pages. ... well, the thing is, the paper she was working on gets done earlier, so she would have been able to help. What ticked me off is, I was asked to help out, but nobody asked to help me out.
Ok, enough *****ing. I'm glad I have a job, even if it's this job. I'm tired and in pain, as usual at the end of my week. Don't have any big plans for tonigh****ch baseball and do laundry, relax with Juliette. Not think about the newspaper.
Anyway, what's happening with y'all?
Sorry you aren't feeling well, Eileen. Hope you shake the headache soon. I hate working with a headache.
I am resting today. Went to get the x-ray and shopping with Mom yesterday. I got two brand new sweaters with tags on them, one for $4 and one for $2. I also got a little ceramic tea set for two, to have tea with Isabel when she comes to visit. Wore me out and I was sore last night.
Today is keep the foot elevated day and rest it. I have phone calls to make and crocheting to do. I have to make some headway on Isabel's bedspread.
I hope everyone has a great day. Count your blessings.
Hugs,

Next week is my 5 year check up and I am in a tizzy. The fear is that he is going to find something wrong with my belly - like more hernias. Buldges, pain and oh yeah, we've done this before. Last year he said it wasn't bad enough for more surgery. It has gotten worse. He needs to put some velcro in there or perhaps a steel plate. No time for surgery. Stomping my foot and ready to have a hissy fit.
On a brighter note ... our little Matthew is turning into a BOY!!! No longer a baby at 4 1/2. Yesterday I asked him to put away some toys before he dragged more out. With those big brown eyes he gave me a look.

My friend Angela is coming for a visit. She moved to Arizona and I miss her. The event is her Mom's birthday - 103 years old!!!! and still alert and spry. Quite and accomplishment.

Thanks for the smile, it is fun to see little people make such prouncements as your Matthew did, I've had that pleasure with both my grands and it tickles your innards. . .

It should come up fairly quickly, and if it doesn't I'm going to ask my PCP to see a hematologist.
Not feeling weak, really, just seem to be tired all the time. And here I thought it was just cause I was getting old....lol
Hugggssss back at ya!
Susan
OMG Sis that is way to funny!!! You come over here and you expect me to put my toys away?? LMAO!!!! Gotta love the things kids say!!!!
Hey did you hear that we adopted a kitty? Yuppers a black and white kitty named Buster!! He is 6 months old and so far so good getting along with Bandit. Some fights break out but not too bad!! LOL Wish I could figure out how to get pictures on here again!!! GRRRR
And did they ever give you a reason WHY you get so many hernias?? DAM!!!
HUGS
Part of the hernia problem is losing so much weight. The doctor guesses it may have more to do with genetics. My Dad had 7 hernia surgeries and he was never fat.
The luck of the draw. I got my big nose & ass from Mom, weak belly from Dad.
